Show Name: A Gryphon's Grace
Barn Name: Roma
Age: 8yrs
Gender: Mare
Breed: 50% Noriker 25% Irish Draft 25% Paint
Height: 17hh
Personality: Strong and sturdy Roma does not shy away from anything. She will always follow orders given to her and is loyal to those who have shown her kindness.
History: Roma was specifiaclly bred and trained to be a jousting horse. Her lineage allows for the sturdiness simular to the medeival destriers and the bred beauty of modern day horses. She was born in a city not far from Rome, and has traveled all over the world prefoming and competeting. Roma has now found her way to Cottonwood for her much anticipated retirement.

Fact No.1: Roma was specifically trained to be a jousting horse for reinactments
Fact No.2: This will be her last jousting comiptition. Afterwards she will be retired.
Fact No.3: After every compitition or demonstration Roma would always be given a special treat... A pepperment cookie! (horse safe recipe of course)

Show Name: Fiery Bold, Fiery Beauty
Barn Name: Gryphus/Gryph
Age: 8 Years
Gender: Mare
Breed: Pinto Warmblood x Morab
Personality: Gryph is a passionate, one-person-horse kind of mare. She bonds to one rider, because it takes awhile for a rider to get to know her, and learn all her little quirks. She does love attention, especially from humans- she seems prickly around some other horses. She's been labeled a grouch, difficult, and stubborn. She is stubborn, and she likes to go her own way, making her own decisions. However, her tough personality covers up a sweet mare who is hungry for affection and care. She is competitive and fiery, charging into the fray of jousting. Her black and gold colors describe her to a 'T', as she is bold and daring. The gryphon, meanwhile is the perfect representation of her- a creature with noble aggression, fierce in battle, and regal.
Gryph will follow her rider to the ends of the earth and beyond, and would fight to the death for you, once she trusts you. It just takes a long time, patience, and a kind spirit to work with her.
History:
Fact No.1: Gryph has been known to, despite being trained in jousting and flatwork, jump tall fences when she feels threatened or stirred up. She can clear heights that are typically only seen in warmbloods, all due to her extreme jumper father. Unfortunately she did not take after her dressage-trained cooler-headed mother! Still, we kind of wish she'd stop clearing out of the pasture to go check out new trailers or horses!
Fact No.2: Gryph, while grouchy around older horses or horses her age, seems to have an odd affection for everything else little. When kittens are born on the ranch, she'll follow right along, sniffing at tiny little tails and making fur go up on end. She also likes horse foals, though she can't get close to those due to protective dams. Gryph even likes watching barn swallow chicks poke their head out of the nests, and will prick her ears and cock her head each way whenever she can spot them.
Fact No.3: Gryph a strong aversion to sudden bursts of light and sound together. She can take a light suddenly flicking on, or even something hitting the ground, but when combined she will grow extremely agitated and aggressive at times. Her fear is even more extreme than a normal horse's- firecrackers, lightning, and loud cellphones are some of the most nerve-wracking things for her. This was due to a hunter accidentally setting off his gun, sending a bullet right between her ears, when she was young and had jumped a fence and was wandering about.
Other:
Genetics:Gryph has a Bay Dun Morab dam, and a Smoky Black Tobiano Warmblood sire, so her gene code would be: EE/Aa/nCr/Dd/nT. This means she could have a myriad of beautiful foals with the right stallion.
Poem:
To the fray, we charge and cry
Striding forward, march to die
My heart is yours, to Death I sing
Cower before me, trembling
On to glory, with black and gold
To die young, or to die old.
Art:
(Did a Pencil Headshot, may color it- I like it as is though, so we'll see!)

Beautiful job! (love the griffins btw, kudos to you for making them look awesome.) I hope to enter if I have time!
Status/sayings: Life being consumed by rabbits and dancing.
Hi I am Baby bunnies! but you can call me BB
I love to do art. Before December 2014 all art that I did was with a mouse. I now work with a Bamboo tablet. Also please note that I expect something in return for customs, I put time into every piece.
I own rabbits! I love to show my rabbits and and have gotten many first place ribbons, a lot of Best of Breed, Best Opposite Breed, Best of Variety, & Best Opposite Variety awards. My rabbits have also gotten Reserve in Show and Best 6 class. I, personally, have gotten Reserve Champion and Grand Champion awards. I take part in Rabbit Royalty! If you have any questions about Rabbits then please ask and I shall answer as best that I can.
