[Lilian Nightshade]

Ok, designing bird equids is so fun I couldn't resist coloring a penguin one XD. To try for this one, give him a personality and tell me what he would do if he found a lake somewhere. You can tell it as a story, but write it in 200 words at the most.

Equid's Name: Gizmoe

Age: 3 Years of Age
Gender: Stallion
Personality: This stallion is.... strange. He just doesn't view things like others do and has a very imagitive mind. The mountains that he calls home is his castle, while the bright green pastures are the fields of dreams. He imagines himself running among the clouds or even fly, and the wind to soar through his mane and tail. All the other equids are peasants wondering the lands, some may be kings or queens, princesses or princes, who knows maybe a dragon or unicorn! Gizmoe has always been like that, and his way he views his world is all fantasy. In general, this equid actually doesn't talk. He can't, and therefore is mute. So instead of voicing his thoughts, he will imgaine them. It can be hard to show others what he sees so he stays by himself, unless you're like him then you two shall be two peas in a pod. All in all, Gizmoe is a sweetheart with a wild and crazy mind, who can't talk but can see so much more than one can say.
Answer: Since penquins can't fly on land, they can in water. That doesn't really apply to Gizmoe. He can't swim for the life of him, so he sits by the shore and watches the waters. He will even use his tail as a fish and swim in the water, trying to mingle with any others he may find. Since he has an imagitive mind, he'll "see" an underwater land full of various reefs, filled with many little towns and schools of fish, with maybe a castle buried in the coral as well.

Personality: parnell is laid-back, and calm he neighs a lot, and is very talkative. he often spends a lot of time with aire, and trots around with her through fields. he prefers to walk through small bubbling streams, feeling the stones beneath his hooves and hearing them shift with the water.
Answer: he would probably swim in the lake!! enjoying the cool water, the different shimmering fish beneath his hooves, as he kicks up dirt and leaves. sometimes water swirls around him as he snorts when some of the water goes in his nose.

Equid's Name: Azzar
Height: 14,1 hh
Age: 5 years old
Gender: Stallion
Personality: Generally Azzar is pretty calm, laid back on his own. He always get excited to see other equids, ears up, eyes bright, all that. Around other equids, especially foals, Azzar is fond of playing around, getting in enough of a playing mood to buck and kick. But he's more like that when there are generally fewer equids around. If you get into groups of maybe seven or more he tends to stay away. Not for fear of large groups, but being around so many makes him nervous and sets him on edge, putting him in the kind of mood when there's a monster hiding behind every rock.
Answer: If Azzar found a lake this calm boy would first get a drink, then swim around in the shallows, just high enough in that his hooves are just above the ground. If there are any lily pads, Azzar would venture out farther to be able to nibble on them as he just loves their taste, he'll eat water weeds as well. Both of these two foods are his favorite!

Personality: Gandale is quirckey cute and all around adorable. He could easilly trip on a flat survice and makes misstakes often! (He really reminds me of me!) He has more inside than meets the eye but he is kicking me now so i shall say no more on that. The doesn't care what other people think about him and is just himself.
Answer: He would step in for a moment but only to his ankles take a drink and leave. because he knows his body build forbids him from swimming.

And yes. I know WME's cannot "dive" under water but it made the story cute and child-like.

Equid's Name: Delmar. Means "at the sea" in Spanish/African.
Height: 14,1 hh
Age: Seven years of age.
Gender: Stallion
Personality: Delmar is a calculated being. His every move and thought is planned within his brain. He doesn't even not think,his mind is always reeling with unanswered questions.

Delmar is also a sweet and gentle being. He will get on a foals level to talk,just to be fair. He doesn't like others picking on fellow equids and is often labeled the peace maker. It wouldn't dare hurt anyone..one purpose.

With this somewhat overly careful equid..he doesn't act the nicest to other adult mares. He is afraid of them,believe it or not and couldn't stand it if he was left alone with a mare. Its quite odd really and I haven't the slightest idea how he could ever hold a mate for long.
Answer: Delmar,being a water loving equid,would gladly jump into any body of water..acting like a young colt. Most likely he would splash about at the water's edge and once his legs got accustomed to the temperature change,would leap right in. He would dive to the bottom and associate with the fishes,swimming around like a true underwater creature. Delmar would then emerge and take a deep heaving breath. As he strode out of the water he would watch for any other equid and then dive right back in. As he found the water lilies he would nibble on the small flower blooms and then eat the lily pads. He would munch and munch until his belly was full and then rest in the cat-tail reeds,tall and concealing.

Personality: This stallion is a loving, free spirit. but when danger lurks ahead, he gets serious. He will do anything to fend off the dangerous animals of the wild. He is mostly a happy creature and loves to run and play. He cant go a day without trying to play with other animals. He loves the wilderness and nature. He has the most fun in winter when he plays with the penguins and arctic foxes.

Answer: If he came across a lake, he would most likely run in it and splash and play on the cold water. Then he would drink from it and play in it again. He would also play with the fish that live in the water. As i said above, he loves other animals.

Personality: He is quite when alone, often a day dreamer at times like that. But when he meet friends or other equids even other forest animals he is a bundle of joy, others may use the word rambunctious to describe him. He loves water, more than most equids think normal. Although he has quirks he is very gentle and kind, never intentionly hurting any thing or one, if it would happen on accident then he feels extreme guilt and the need to smooth things over, or help in anyway. He is very helpful some might think overly. He is touchy though, but not overly never truelly showing his inner emotions other than what people would expect, however if his feelings were hurt or his trust broken he is tough to win back and will oftentimes seclude himself for a while. He is courageous and brave always standing up for what he believes and never one to shy away from a challenge. He isn't always the quickest witted but is a good thinker and often comes up with brilliant plans and ideas, very clever but a time taker. Likes to enjoy the things in life and nature. Has a soft spot for female equids and try's to be quite the ladies man.
Answer: if he saw any water of any source, he would gallantly speed towards it, In a joyfull sprint. Reaching the water, no matter the depth, he would dip his feet in, lay in it and swoosh and splash his tail around, dipping his face in the water and bring it back up snorting and spraying water around as he would shake his head as if an actual penguin enjoying the love of water rather than air. He would jump in and out, playing games with the water as if he was actually a penguin in the ocean swimming loopty loops. He would munch on vegetation and drink the sustaining substance, blowing bubbles playfully as he took sips.

Personality:Tuxedo is a fun loving Equid that loves to make his friends laugh. He is what some would call the Life of the party or a joker . You never see him without a smile on his muzzle,no matter what he may be going through. He is always there to encourage others and he never misses an opportunity to play with the foals...and usually he ends up acting like one himself. Even though he may seem llike a joke all the time,he does have a serious side to him when needed. He knows right from wrong and isn't afraid to tell one what he thinks.
Answer: Tuxedo would first get a running start and at the last second, he would drop down his hindquarters and slide in the mud to the water and make the biggest splash he could. He would then get to his hoofs and shake off the mud and splash around in the shallows until he was satisfied that those around him had been thouroughly soaked. Then off to the deepest part of the lake for a nice cool,refreshing swim. He would jump right in up to his neck and swim as far as he could, kicking his legs in a gentle,almost dance like motion. After a good day of swiming,he would wade back onto dry land and proceed to once again shake his pelt dry....therefore ensuring his friends once again got drenched.

Personality: Renoir is highly intelligent, but his social skills are next to zero. Oh, he's happy to explain why the stars occasionally disappear into the night's abyss (With relative accuracy according to human science), but politely asking if he can take a drink from a water source is completely out of his ability range. He's very sarcastic, but he tries not to be rude about it (to no effect), in hopes that he won't be quite so lonely.
Answer: Renoir would first analyze the speed and temperature of the water, then the inhabitants of the lake. After several minutes of thought and calculating, he would eventually come to the conclusion that the water is either "good" and "drinkable" (clear, from the mountains, no cichlids to alter the ammonia content of the water) or "indigestible" - that is, any water that does not meet his particulars.
