Story:
Lore blinked his emerald eyes, and smiled. Today was going to be different. No more lounging around and playing with bubbles. Today he was going to do something daring and brave, he was sick of simply swimming around playing childish games. Lore felt a shiver of excitement at his daring plan. His plan was simple enough, get away from all the other Guardians of The Sea. Easy, enough. Oo! Look! A thick coral reef was only a couple meters away, and it would make perfect cover. Everyone would be enjoy the coral reef and the corals. Lore bit his lip when he was tempted to hang out there with his friends for some time. What was the harm! No, get a grip![i/] Lore scolded himself and causally swam over to the reef and pretended to play with the bubbles. A favourite activity of his. He blew a thick bubble through his nose and gave chase, leading the bubble away from the reef. Great, nobody seemed interested in his “silly” games.
Swallowing back a grin, he ducked behind a forest of kelp and peeked out from behind it. There were a couple Guardians drifting lazily around the coral reef. Lore happily darted away to find his favourite haunt.
He’d been going there for maybe.....since he was just two years old. He loved the place.
Suddenly, pain shot up his skull and he winced and noticed that he’d crashed. How stupid of him! He’d been too warped up thinking about his favourite place, that he’d bumped into his shipwreck, his favourite haunt.
Lore had a special thing for old things, well except for old Guardians of The Ocean, and old food..really old artifacts.
Shrugging, he felt a shiver go through him. Like a spark, working its way down his spine.
The wreck was old and kelp thrived on it. It had a haunting mysterious look to it, but this would always be Lore’s haunt, the place he was most comfortable in.
Slipping in through a large hole through the hull of the ship he made his way through the familiar hallways. There was always cool stuff there. Oh look! A silver coin, how pretty. Lore leaned forward and snagged it and peered into it.
It was truly beautiful, it had a pearly silver glow to it, and odd runes(human writing c:) carved in. Deciding that he’d keep it, he held it between his teeth.
It wasn’t a very comfortable way to keep the pretty artifact but what else was he going to do? He rarely took things for here, oh sure they were some pretty dang cool things but they belonged here. He preferred odd, simple little artifacts. This was his second artifact from the wreck.
His first artifact was a little...gear. He loved it. It was stained with rust, and when he’d found it, the gear had been covered in a rock hard blanket of barnacles. He’d stepped on it, much to his discomfort and then a overwhelming curiosity took over and he cleaned the thing.
BANG!
Owww.. [i]He really should pay more attention to where he was going...
Shaking his head he continued his way through the hallways. Oh look! That was such a realistic paint of a Great White Shark!
Wait, since when did paintings blink?
Let a frightened call he darted away, with the shark at his tail. Then he felt surprised that anymore, he hardly felt any fear. He swallowed and turned around to face the shark.
The shark’s expression was to die for, it looked completely confused as Lore dove at it and head butted it’s stomach.
The shark reeled back in shock, and bared it’s teeth, but Lore was long gone.
Lore felt a sick, and happy...If that was possible.
Grinning he returned to the reef blowing bubbles.
That was his biggest adventure ever! And it defiantly wouldn’t be his last.
Well the story is finished. I tried to keep it fun, entertaining and a little bit on the shorter side. Still, I hope you enjoyed it c: I had lots of fun writting it.
