What is a Jellybean Dragon?
A Jellybean Dragon is a fluffy, friendly dragon that hatches from a jellybean-like egg. Their diet consists of fruits and insects, but they also love sweets and desserts. Their fur is soft and long, usually brightly colored and it's always neat and shiny. Jellybean Dragons are gentle and happy, and love attention. Most are Great Dane-sized when they are fully grown, but some of them can grow as big as a cow. All Jellybean Dragons have pouches on their bellies, which they use to carry around food or younger JBDs.

KIND

Tulip is a gentle soul, and tries to never hurt a fly. Being a tourist, being kind is the key if she will ever get the photos or knowledge she desires.

DETERMINATION

Tulip never gives up on anything; if it's set in her eyes, there's nothing that will stop her. Knowledge, photos, traveling, she can set her sight on one thing, and it'll get done. Sometimes this gets in the way, because commonly, she passes right by what she wants. Tulip does her best, gets it, or fails.

Go big, or go home, is what I always say.

LOVING

Being one of nature, she is loving to whoever approaches her. Even if she's just met someone, she'll be kind, soft, and do her best to make them feel like she is their friend. Tulip, as a tourist, has to be loving, if she is to obtain what she desires when going around place to place.

Alright, get comfy. This story is one of my favorites.
The time, I came in contact with a giraffe.


I was heading to the savannah, my binoculars and camera attached to my neck. The sun beat down with a anger, and I was quite warm. The yellow grass surrounded all around me, and I looked like a outsider with my blue coat.
Looking side to side, I could see the heat bounce, but I thought it was my mind playing tricks. All I had seen were birds, and plenty of them.
"I have too many pictures of birds." I mumbled to myself, sighing right after. Flicking my curled tail, I kept glancing around. Nothing.
That's when I heard something.
Staying still in my tracks, I lowered myself to the ground, careful not to break my camera or binoculars. Lifting up my grey, newly cleaning binoculars, I glanced up.
There it was. In front of me, was a yellow and brownish-orange giraffe. It's long neck looked like it reached the sky, and I was barely the height of it's entire leg. Quickly, grabbing my camera, I took a shot from where I was, and then slightly backed away. Lifting myself from the ground, I went into a sitting position, and took many snapshots of the magnificent creature.
"Hello, friend." I cooed, trying to look at it's eyes. It looked like tiny little balls from here. I smiled, flicking my ears before taking another shot of the giraffe. I approached it cautiously; cooeing and whispering how beautiful it was. The giraffe tried to bend down; the best it could do was lay on the yellow grass, and bend slightly. I smiled, and soon after I was near it. I stroked it's shoulders and back, careful for my camera or binoculars to touch it.
I took one last snapshot, and this one was the best that I took. Stroking one last time, I padded away with a pleasure. That day was my lucky day. That day, was special.
That day, I'll never forget.

I'm fine. So, why did you become a tourist?
Hmm, when I became a tourist? It all started when I was just a little jellybean. I visited Canada; and I guess, when I wanted a souvenir, I chose my first camera and binoculars. I also got a snow globe. That really started it all, and I'm glad it did. I've traveled as a tourist ever since.

What's your favorite place?
Oh, I love this question. My favorite place is Hawaii; it's so peaceful, and something like how I imagine paradise. It's really nice. I spent a longer time there then I should have.

What's your favorite souvenir?
My favorite souvenir has to be the keychain I got from California. It glows and it's signed by one of my favorite actresses. -giggles-

If you could be one of your souvenirs, which one would you be?
Hmm, oh! I would love to be my snow globe of Las Vegas. It's a miniature Las Vegas! Pretty cool, actually.

Ever since I watched her being design, I instantly fell in love with her. Giraffes hold a special place in my heart; they remind me of one special person I know.
Blue is one of my favorite colors, and purple {for her eyes} is my other favorite color. This made me fall in love with the design even more.
I love that she isn't too bright, but perfect for my tastes. I could visualize what she was; a tourist, in my opinion. I already knew how her personality would play out in a quick look, and she stole my heart like that.
Since her design, was based like a giraffe, that was one of the reasons that made me love her more. It pulled me to try my best; to give it my all. Like I said, giraffes remind me of a special person, and my form is inspired by the person. I truly love the JBD, and if I win her, I will do everything in my power to make this JBD feel loved.

She is truly amazing. I would use her as my character, and a loved one also. I've had a JBD Frenzy, ever since I received Ducky. She would get lots of art, her own post and home in the Duck Pond, and be RP'd. She will also join the JBD Chat site, and I will have her chat a lot there. I will draw her, just like I've been doing ever since I laid my eyes on her. She will also be placed in my signature , once I re-do it to fit Ducky and her.


Currently, I'm writing a story about Ducky, so she would be included there. I've written many stories; but never displayed them. She would be included in Ducky's story, and she would have her own. I would develop her history. Since, like I said, I knew what she would be since I had first seen her, and I have stories in my head that I'd like to write down. Including, how and why she wanted the binoculars, or even going to Canada. I would also write stories of why she loves Hawaii.


I would make lots of art as her, like I have said, and I wanted to do a group picture of Ducky and her. I would sketch her traditionally, and even make her a reference, just for herself. I currently have what her anthro form looks like; and have sketched a traditional ref.
Main point, I would make sure she gets lots of art. <3


There are also many other reasons, but, bottom line, I would love her dearly.




I am so sorry if this is too long; I love her very much, and I just needed to write this down. I had to give it my best. You don't need read it all, or even the extras, I just had to work my hardest. ;n;

|~•Zafiro is a kind-hearted Jellybean Dragon. In love with animals, she often visits zoos or even takes plane rides to Africa! This is how much she loves them. She usually expresses her feelings and is very friendly, opening up to many other dragons quite easily. Rarely has she ever gotten mad with such a personality, so many others like to be around her. She knows when to speak and when not to, and is also usually calm and collected during certain occasions. Of course, she is also very frightened of certain things very easily, and might grow to be a bit shy, too. But all out, if you get to know her quickly, she'll be a great friend.•~|

|•~ when she was just a little JellyBean Dragon she played with many friends! she lived in Africa. her family was poor like most of the African JBD village. she always gladly helped with the chores around the house. during her free time she would secretly play with the Safari animals. she would help raise the lion cubs. she made friends with the animals quickly. she could easily tell what they were saying! she would help the nanies stand up. she would play with all the little lion cubs.
~ one day, when she went to visit the animals she was caught sneaking away by one of her best friends. her friends spread secrets fast. so she never told any of them her secret life of helping animals. her friend walked up to her. "where are you going, Zafiro?"
~ "uhm....oh! i was going to get some water for the village!" Zafiro said with a quick fake smile.
~ "uh huh. sure. well, can i come with?" her friend asked. her friend lightly tapped her toes.
~ "uhm..no, mother wanted me to do it alone." Zafiro was trying her best not to collapse from anticapation.
~ "fine! i'm going to help mother with the chores." Her friend said as she walked away. she rolled her eyes as she walked away. she quickly hid behind a nearby hut when Zafiro loked away.
~ Zafiro sighed in releif. she smiled and began walking the way she always went to help and play with the safari animals. little did she know her friend was secretly following her. Zafiro didn't know she was being followed. her friends Gasped silently when she saw Zafiro playing with wild lions. her friend {staying unnamed} ran to the village and quickly spread the word about what Zufiro was always doing during her free time.
~ When Zafiro walked into the village she got a glare from her mother. her father was gone so she lived with her mother. she wondered why she was getting a glare. "what's wrong, Mother?"
~ her mother walked up to Zafiro. "what have you been doing during your free time, Zafiro?"
~ "uhm..."
~ "have you been playing with wild animals?"
~ Zafiro gasped. "what?! why would i do that?.." she asked. she knew her secret was out. "yes. i've been playing and helping wild animals."
~ her mother gasped and hugged. "i'm so happy for you!"
~ Zafiro was dumbfounded. her mother isn't Furiuos with her? she pushed away from her mother's grasp. "you're not mad at me for hiding what i did all this time?"
~ "of course not! i'm just glad your safe!"
~ Zafiro smiled brightly and hugged her mother. "i love you, Mother."
~ "i love you,too." they hugged eachother.
~ this now brings us to where she is today. she had moved to the US when she was old enough. she lives in a large house with a lion cub as her companion. she and her cub would travel to Africa every chance they got. Zafiro had saved the village many times. she taught some of the village children to help injured wild animals. she helps out constantly with the chores. she hikes with her lion cub in the dry land. she finds all kinds of exotic things. ~•|

I have found my dream JBD! she just looks super amazing! I would be the happiest person alive if I got her. i promise to give her a wonderful home. a great place to live with some of my future JBDs. she would just make an excelent 1st JBD for me. i promise to share this JBD with the world. a friend of mine here on CS plans to make some plushies and sell them on Ebay. I plan on buying one of the ones that look like Zafiro! i will add my own accesories. i would love her to DEATH!!!!!!!!! i wouldn't let her go. I would NEVER EVER put her back up for adoption. not as long as i live. i will put all her given art with her in her new thread. i wouldn't treat her like she's nothing. i don't want her to just say i have one. no i want her so i can give her lots o' love! every day i'd head to her thread and check out to how many comments she had gotten. wether i'm on a phone or a Laptop. i will always think of this wonderful JBD. Name ;; D r i f t
“Ha! Weird name huh? I don't know what my parents were thinking.”

Drift was named after his parents got a good look at his markings, although they had narrowed the names down to a few before he hatched, basing them around his egg colour. After hatching, it took two weeks for drifts markings to set in, and in that time his kin had already got their markings. There was no history of late bloomers in his family, but the young and playful dragon did not seem to mind. When he finally got his markings, his parents were shocked. They were expecting him to have fine wavy stripes like them, but he developed splotches. Although this was a big setback name wise, his parents were very happy with his overall look, no minding his unique spotty markings. After a bit of though, Drifts father snapped his fingers and laughed “Drift!” His mother, confused, asked why, she wanted to name him something like Azure or Sapphire because it suited his pelt. “Because of his spots silly!” His mother gave his father a quizzical look before having a stronger look at the little bundle of fluffs coat. “Oh,” She sighed, putting two and two together. “His spots, They look like a breaking icesheet; all of the different pieces of ice are drifting apart.” “Exactly” his father breathed, nuzzling the soft fur of the young dragon. “Welcome to the world, little Drift. Stay together now, and never drift apart”
And so, Drift was called Drift.

Drift isn't as male as some jelly bean dragons, he has a few, well, girly quality's.
His laugh for one, is high pitched and more of a giggle than anything else. He occasionally adds a light snort here and there but only if he is among close friends. He finds his laugh embarrassing if he does it in front of strangers.

“Oh, out of everything in the world? Well, I love collecting drift wood, but that’s only second to watching the sun set across the ocean. There is no better feeling.”

Drift collects, -like his name- drift wood. Whenever he walks along the beach, he’ll stop constantly to look for the sofened wood along with other things he might come about.
