- Day 9 - Ikari - Monkey
- Ikari peeked out from beyond the water's surface meekly. She slipped a small smile, noticing the tall castle at the top of the hill. From the bay she could only see so much, but her curious eyes roamed the massive structure with all the wonder of a young child standing at its gates. Granted, she knew that wasn't possible. She ducked back into the water, her eyes trailing down to her finned tail. She could only watch from here, but she'd made the journey all the same. Who wouldn't want to at least see a real life castle? She poked her head up again to steal another glance. Ikari had always wondered about castles. They looked so grand, imposing and... mysterious. She desperately wanted to go inside, but there didn't seem to be a way. With a soft sigh she stared for awhile, humoring thoughts of being a real fairy tale princess.
A loud cry interrupted her thoughts and with a jolt she ducked into the water and hurried into a safer place. She had been foolish to loiter, but... she had made a long journey and it would probably not happen again for a long time. Ikari didn't blame herself for hoping, after all. It was a simple dream, but one that kept her determined.
