Cricket has a lot of opinions of the things around her. For instance, she loves
crickets. All though she doesn’t hate any kind of bug, she can’t stand snakes.
One time when she was on a camping trip, one of the girls in her group got
bit by one. Even if the very same girl had been mocking earlier that
morning, Cricket felt bad for her, and ever since, she had avoided snakes at
all costs. And, moving on, Cricket has a strange liking of dried seaweed.
She loves the little crunch when she bites into it, and she just loves the
taste. She loves trying new things, but sometimes, she regrets what she
tries. One time, Brady let her try a jalapeno. Of course Cricket had no
idea what it would taste like, so she willingly agreed. It only took a
little nibble and she started running for the sink to splash water into
her mouth. Brady laughed, and normally, she would have been upset,
but she imagined herself and how funny her face would’ve looked like
and she just laughed along. So, I bet you can guess that she dis-likes
jalapenos. Even though Cricket isn’t much of a people person, she’s glad
she found her one best friend, Teelia. Guess you’d call that a like!◣

Cricket is an odd little girl with an odd obsession for bugs.
When all the other girls are gossiping about makeup and boys, she’s looking
for bugs! Cricket just doesn’t see the point of gossiping when there is so
much to explore in nature! Of course, her favorite bugs are crickets, but
she loves all kinds of bugs. From walking sticks to butterflies, Cricket just
can’t express her emotions for them. Cricket doesn’t just enjoy the bugs in
nature, but all of it! She loves the flowers, the grass, and the clovers! Oh
she loves clovers! She feels safe in nature, and she isn’t what you’d call a
people-person. Many of the girls make fun of her love for all those creepy
crawlies. And for the other people, well, they just think she’s weird.
Cricket has found it hard to make friends. Well of course, before Teelia
came along. She was the one girl who made Cricket feel good about herself,
and yes, they eventually became friends. But whenever Teelia is not around
she just feels like she doesn’t fit in because she’s always surrounded by bullies.
So, she just tends to stay away from everyone, and she is often seen as very shy.
Being near people for too long makes her uncomfortable and seeing people
together, laughing is just all out depressing. But she is a confident girl, and she
doesn’t let that hurt her, well, with her brother’s help that is. Cricket’s
relationship with Bradbury is amazing, or as Cricket likes to call him, Brady.
Whenever Cricket gets home from a long day, she loves to cuddle up with her
older brother and talk about her day. He helps her feel more secure and he just
makes her feel happy. Cricket loves his kind personality and appreciates having
such a great brother.◣

Of course, at the moment, I’ll keep her as a shy, bug-loving girl, but for
the future, I have different plans. I think that with her brother
and Teelia's help she can become a little less shy and agreeto come out of her shell. Of course, her love for bugs will never change, so she will always have a knack for exploring nature and discovering them and all their beauty. She might date eventually, and possibly obtain a mate! Cricket will study entomology (the study of bugs), and she may even teach others of the study as well! I also do plan on giving her a whole lot of love, as if I win, she’ll be my first plummie!

Cricket and her dad are pretty close. They sometimes spend afternoons together listening to audio dramas. Even though it's not Cricket's favorite thing to do, she loves spending quality time with her father. Cricket really likes watching her dad write the audio dramas himself. One time she even tried to! It didn't go so well...
Cricket loves her mom. She enjoys spending time with her. Often Cricket will draw pictures for her, show her all the bugs she finds, and yes, they share many hugs. Cricket doesn't ever know what she'd do without her mom!
As I had mentioned before, Cricket and her brother are like two peas in a pod! Cricket goes to him for advice, and Brady always makes her feel better. Cricket and her brother always have a good time, oh how Cricket loves his jokes!
Cricket and her sister seem very distant. She’s always wanted to be closer to her older sister, but both of them being introverted, they both tend to have their alone time rather than quality time with each other. Cricket is disappointed that she doesn’t have a better relationship with her, but she just shrugs it off.
Cricket and her friend Teelia, are very close. Teelia is the only girl who made Cricket feel like she belonged. Over the years, they have become the greatest of friends, and they let no one break that connection. They’ve helped each other through the hardships in life, and in bad times, cheered each other up. Them both being introverted has helped them understand each other better, they know what it feels like, so they are both able to know what the other is going through or feeling.

“Hey Brady!” Cricket sung happily from the doorway of the kitchen. “Whatcha’ got there?” She asked, practically hopped as she made her way to Bradbury. He looked up into Cricket’s eyes and smiled mischievously. “A jalapeno, ever heard of it before?”
Brady asked, pointing to the green pepper that lay on the table. “Uh, I don’t think so, what do they taste like?” Cricket questioned, curiously inspecting the jalapeno. Brady chuckled. “Ah, see for yourself!” He slid the pepper to where Cricket stood and waited in anticipation for her reaction. Cricket cautiously picked it up and held it to her face. “I-I’m not so sure, is it good?” She asked sheepishly. “Of course!” Brady replied with a smile. “Alright, here it goes…” Cricket murmured softly to herself before taking a nibble of the spicy pepper. Cricket’s face was solid for a few seconds before the red overcame it. “H-HOT!!” Cricket yelped, rushing to the sink. This set off Brady, who sat there gasping for air as he laughed away. Cricket stuffed her head under the running water, but the cool sensation of the liquid didn't help. Cricket’s eyes were bulging as she rushed to the fridge, finding a gallon of milk. She poured the whole thing over her face and sighed. The burning had gone away. Cricket stood there, gasping for air. She looked over at Brady that could have been having a seizure, seeing by the way he laughed. Cricket was about to get angry when she thought of how silly she probably looked and joined in on Brady laughter. The two had a pretty good time, but this moment was just a small clip of why the two shared such a great bond.

If you could have any superpower, what would you choose? Why?
“Well talking to bugs of course! Sure, all the other girls would want other things, but I’d want to know what bugs talk about! I’d be interesting to ask them questions…”
If you could make a movie, what would be the theme? What genre?
“Haha! Here I go, talking about bugs again, but really, listen, I have a fun idea! Wait, I don’t have an idea… Wait! OOOH, a documentary on bugs!"
Is there any moment you regret in your life? What would you say to yourself back then if you could travel back in time to that moment?
“Well, I think you all know about the jalapeno incident by now. I guess that’d have to be one of the most regretful moments in my life. And I’d probably do anything in my control to stop myself, screaming, whatever it takes."
