She was the first viscet to find the washed up Prince, and was probably not the best viscet to try to help the beached thousand year old viscet figure out where he was. Avisa lives by the sea, quietly crab fishing and seaweed collecting

This Viscet is incredibly clever - and sometimes, a little too clever for their own good. He absolutely LOVES puzzles, and will spend hours trying to solve even the most challenging ones. On the down-side, he gets bored very easily, and if he doesn't have enough to do, he'll find ways to entertain himself, which can often include making new puzzles (destroying things), playing with friends (annoying others until they agree to play with him), or finding treasure (getting into trouble in the most bizarre places, including getting stuck in or under things). The best way to keep him out of trouble is to give him any amount of water - he adores water and will play or swim in it from sunrise to sunset, and it's a great way to use up his excess energy!

an eternally confused and curious soul, zarya is left to stray along the lines of life and death while managing to not stray too far to one particular side. unable to die from regular old age, severe injuries will get the better of her long life. such a way to live is both a blessing and a curse; zarya has experienced so much more than regular viscets, but she is doomed to lead a path of eternal loneliness. this is only to be expected of a messenger of the gods, and because she is faithful to her deities, she remains quiet and bows her head, accepting her fate, even though she knows that she'd rather live her life differently.

thankfully, the gods are not cruel. they know the way the mortal brain works, and they know the types of dreams that pass by through zarya's mind. while they are unable to grant all of her wishes in return for her hard work and her long years of servitude, they are able to offer a sort of compromise to set her mind at ease. retaining all of one's memories from their past would take their toll on any viscet, and with zarya's consent, the gods would periodically wipe her mind of any particularly negative thoughts and memories. however, such an act does have their downsides, and although zarya is aware that the thoughts that were removed were most likely the ones that were more negative in nature, it is in her nature to wonder what those memories were about.

as a result, zarya has developed methods to help herself cope with her missing memories, even though she knows that the gods (at least, most of them) hold no ill intent towards her. she whispers to herself and carries around a pad of sticky notes as small reminders of her life; perhaps a diary would be more effective, but sticky notes are far more convenient and useful on a day-to-day basis. she is often covered from head to toe in sticky notes of all sorts of colours, shapes, and sizes, and the places that she stays at for extended periods of time fare no better. her mutters and whispers also deter other viscets from getting to know her, but when she speaks to herself, it helps her brain to better process the words and instructions.

unsurprisingly, due to zarya's naturally curious nature, she absolutely hates being left in the dark. the gears in her brain are always turning in one way or another, and her movements reflect that. she acts rather erratically at times, and if she feels that you're purposely keeping a secret from her, she'll do her very best to find out what exactly you're hiding, no matter if it's for the gods or for her own intents. she is a righteous character who only wants the very best for the viscets she cares about and to rediscover the distant memories that the gods had hidden away from her.

Lance is another member of the Jaders, a small group living on the streets of Riverhead. Currently, there are three other members; Dean, Jasper, and Relient. Jasper and Relient are siblings, and although Dean and Lance are not blood related, Dean sees him as a little brother of sorts.

Lance brings exceptional talent to the group; he is a talented pickpocket, thief, and has a knack for getting on people’s good side. He’s also quite the excellent seducer and uses that to his advantage. He’s particularly reckless, taking after Dean in that matter when it comes to taking risks and making split-second decisions.

He has a habit for getting himself into sticky situations, but unlike Dean he uses his wits to talk his way out of it. He’s most definitely not a fighter and relies on his intellect and street knowledge to worm his way out of tight spots. Lance often stands as the voice of reason in the group, especially when Dean makes a stupid decision or attempts to get involved in something way over his head. Those who meet him are also surprised by his raw stubbornness.

Besides being extremely intelligent, Lance naturally has a caring heart. He’s also ridiculously sentimental and collects random items that he’s found or had over the years that he brings with him as his group travels from place to place. Although he’s quite quirky and different from the other three viscets, he’s well respected. The others will listen to advice or criticism he has to give because there’s never a time when it isn’t valid. Lance’s priority is to keep his ‘family’, as he calls them, healthy and happy.

Aside from the casual, outgoing front he holds up when in the presence of other people, Lance is actually a sweetheart and is quite reserved about a lot of things, his feelings and emotions included. He has a few things that he absolutely loves that goes unknown by most, one of which includes the rain. Thunder and lightning storms have never frightened him, and whenever one strikes up he will always be outside where he can feel it. It excites him and motivates him for whatever strange reason, and it’s one of the precious few things in life that bring him true happiness; from the drops of water splashing onto his fur to the scent that only the storm can bring.

Lance also has a thing for references, movies, and music from the last generation, which mostly ends up confusing those around him whenever he attempts to make a joke. He constantly drives others crazy because of this and continues to pretend he’s ignorant. Music is also one of his biggest passions, and it’s rare to see him anywhere without earbuds and some kind of MP3 player (though his favorite is a walkman just because it looks snazzy). Compared to his age, he’s very mature when it comes down to it, but mostly he just likes to relax and have a good time.
