The forest was teeming with life, the syaksyuk swinging from the branches high in the canopy
and ikranay flying stealthily through the tops of the trees, searching for prey. Aros raced across
the forest floor, feet making little sound as he lept from the floor onto a higher branch of a rather
thick tree, thundering footsteps following close behind. He made his way higher into the tree
before a large creature rammed into the base of the trunk, vibrating the massive tree. Fear erupted
in Aros’ eyes as he scrambled to make a decision. Stay in the tree in hopes it won’t be toppled over, or find another means of exiting this creature’s presence. He eyed a close brand and without another though sprinted to the edge of the limb and took his leap of faith, scarcely making the jump and feeling his hands grip the bark as he reached to pull himself up. He look off through the branches of the trees, attempting to put as much distance between himself and the angtsìk as he could. When he felt he no longer was in danger, he took the time to stop and breathe, feeling the cool forest air fill his lungs. It has perfect here, though without the proper instruction, could be one of the deadliest. He had lived on Pandora since he was a mere child, coming with the few others test subjects. It was hard his first year, since he stayed in the encampment for the first six months and on the first outing, got attacked by a thanator. He was walking with the group when the black creature lept from the ferns and with his fearful nature, took off. He was first to be followed and if it wasn’t for another of his kind, he would have died there. He still gets into much trouble when he goes out, but with his experience, he knows how to deal with it. In his many years of living on the new planet, he's managed to catch sight of the many different beings living there, from the smallest bug all the way up to the native Na'vi that live in the area. He has yet to actually speak to one, but the natives tolerate their presence and that's enough for him.
