darling boy! it's my friendiversary with james. today, and what better way to celebrate 4 amazing
years of friendship than to post two darlings we've been rather excited about!
name: Povas
gender: male
meet Povas! ( peacock in Lithuanian )
he's the ring leader of a travelling Lithuanian circus by the name of Beproti Rodyti!
their particular troupe has been blessed with incredible powers by the grace of true Ugin.
other members of his little troupe thus far include his beautiful mate and lovely assistant Šarka
and future teller Keistas! the troupe is a tight knit family, always taking care of one another no
matter the circumstance. they've performed for royalty, Gods, and regular civilians alike. they
are, as Povas likes to brag, the best darned circus out there to date. ... and they've been at this
for a very lengthy amount of time, so it must be true!
Povas was aptly named - he's flashy, dramatic, and showy in nearly any situation he finds himself
in. Lithuanian is his first language, he's fluent in German, and though he can speak English it is
incredibly broken. if anything it gives him an adorable air about him, as he slips up a lot when he
gets excited about things! though an older male, he's still as spry and agile as he was when he was
an adolescent-- he thanks Ugin for this seemingly eternal youth, and he certainly doesn't take it
for granted! Povas loves to laugh and have fun - often the troupe has to watch their backs as he's
very often hiding in wait to jump out at someone or he's bouncing about in hyper excitement.
though fun and exciting, Povas does have a bit of an anger management issue-- his fuse is incredibly
short, and he can snap at the drop of a hat if provoked. all it takes is someone saying the wrong
thing and he can fly off the handle, shouting and making a mess of his surroundings. Šarka is the
only one who can calm him down from these rage fits, and the calming effects are immediate. the
moment she touches him or gathers him up in her embrace he melts into her and begins with some
deep breathing to calm himself. there's a... bit of a disconnect in his brain. some wires just aren't
firing with the same enthusiasm as others - he's unpredictable and not entirely all there. spaced out
and very particular in his ways. as a general rule, however, he is a very friendly fella, so long as you
watch what you say about what's most important to him.
