Why do they think they're a vampire? ;;
When Marcel was little, one of the foster families she was living with gave her a book called 'Bunnacula.' She loved it, expecially how the dogs were terrified of the small rabbit that could suck juices from vegitables. She started scouring the internet to find ways to turn into a vampire. Unfortunately, all of the ways she found were fakes. Marcel decided that she must have been born a vampire, and that's why her birth parents didn't want her. She had been shuffled from foster home to foster home all her life, and never been given a reason to why, so she settled that it must be that. Due to her teeth growing too close together, two teeth ended up growing at an angle pointing slightly outward, and that just solidified her hypothesis.

Marcel wears a gooden ring, which you probably noticed. She tells everyone that she was given it by a fellow vampire when asked, but the true story is much less dramatic. Mentioned above, she has been moved around many foster homes because they could not deal with her vampire obsession. The only foster home that didn't mind it was the second one she stayed in, and it was by far her favorite, and one of the only times she cried when she left. They couldn't keep her because they had a son who had fallen extremely ill, and had to use all their time to get better. As Marcel was getting into a car to be driven away, her red, tearing eyes noticed a glint of muted gold on the ground. She discreetly bent and picked it up, slipping into the car. The ring was old and dirty, probably a wedding band thrown during a fight. Marcel put it on her paw, and it made her feel a little better. When she goes through hard times, she can look at the ring and remember the second family. It doesn't always help, but it does bring back good memories. The ring is one of the only posessions she owns besides clothing, and she never takes it off.
