Shelties are an amalgamation of fluff, smartness, agility and cute all in a compact sized dog.
They're so fun-loving and would love nothing more than a good game of catch, a walk or just some mental stimulation.
Rhys is an active Viscet himself and likes to keep in shape so he would always dream of getting one to go on walks with or just laze at home with on rest days. He always loved a challenge so training a Sheltie would be something that could keep him entertained. He have met many other dogs before but none has drawn his attention much like a Sheltie.

He is fascinated with the breed's history and the fact that they're used in protection of people (police dogs, military dogs, and service dogs for the impaired) and usually set their attachment to one person and one person only. He loves learning new things about the breed. He also adores their beauty and how the carry themselves so regally. He enjoys the fact that they look so much like their natural ancestors in their body structure, the wolf, and yet retain their dog-like behaviors just as any other breed. Their agility and abilities in running and competitions as well as their intelligence is also a factor in his love of the breed.

why: The fact that they are as playfull and
energized as ever is a great help for a hunter like
Matrix. It also, helps that these breed of dogs are
great hunters, making it easy for Matrix to hunt
small prey. He has one of his own he has named
Code 9, or rather Cody for the 'cool' effect it gives.
Another reason he loves them is because that their
pelts blend well, in the grass same like his, so
stalking the prey is easy. Not only are they great
hunters but are also, great co-operative and energized
friends, which is fun since Matrix does hang around
the outsides and would usually be working out at gyms,
with his dog Code 9-or Cody.
Personality: Matrix is your everyday, small game
hunter. He is quiet friendly and nice, in other words a
normal everyday neighbor with a passion to hunt the
over-breeding ducks at his place. He could easily be found
either training with his dog, or hunting. Matrix would never
pass the opportunity of a hunting challenge and most of the
times win, but is also very co-operative when your viscet is
in need of small prey/food. Making him the friendly, co-op,
challenger, hunter type. But like everyone and everything else,
he surely has flaws. When he gets rejected, turned down or
looses a really great challenge his mood would swing here
and there and it would mostly be anger and/or sadness.

ᴡʜʏ? - One of the world's most misunderstood dog breeds were evidently Levi's favorite. This breed is the pitbull.

Pitbulls are most known for frequently showing up on the news for attacking another being. They're also known for populating dog fighting rings, being aggressive, and just downright intimidating. This breed has a bad reputation in the media.

Levi goes by the quote, "It's not the dog, it's the owner." If a dog lives a bad lifestyle filled with bad memories, it's going to be aggressive. It won't give respect if you don't give respect first. The dog will be happy if you love it.

Pitbulls are a beautiful breed to him. They were very loyal and affectionate dogs that love attention, especially when it's all over them. They can be very playful, and in Levi's opinion, fun to keep up with. It's fun racing with them, even if Levi won't win!

Levi regularly visits the local shelter as a volunteer helper. He helps feed each pup and tried his best to play with each one. Sadly, there are many pitbulls in the shelter, nobody wants to adopt them because of their bad rep- which saddens the viscet. He paid extra attention to the dogs that have been in the shelter longer than the others.

The viscet regularly takes out a select few on walks around the block, to let the dogs stretch their legs out after being in that cage for so long. Others would look at him weirdly- and a bit spooked- as they were intimidated by the larger breeds.

Levi hates it when others discriminate a dog breed because of their reputation. It's probably his biggest pet peeve, because any dog can be a lovable pup with enough training and care.
