Whoop!!! I had this guy in mind for a while and am actually really happy that he is here ;u; It was also a good stress reliever to make him, too, haha
I honestly had a lot of fun designing this fella. The trail marking on his belly and mane were super fun to work with and I really enjoyed adding a sunbleached effect to his back because this guy is outside nearly 24/7. He's up for friends, but only friends who can stand his weird smell and lack of social skills, hahaha.
How the time was spent!
First hour and a half: Looking at hundreds of exotic fish trying to find a unique one with a fitting dorsal fin that would work best for this boy
Half hour: Lining the mane and applying basic colors
Fourty-five minutes: Designing the boy
Rest of time: Tidying up and adding accessories.
Yep. I spent an hour and a half looking at fish while my family watched the Hockey game, hahaha

Ren Zale, or Zale as he prefers, was raised by the sea and taught to fish with only a net and his paws. He grew up in a life filled with water, sand, and fish and grew very fond of the sea. As an adult, he has become a fisher, selling his catches to merchants for cheap prices or simple trades. He's a simple fellow and doesn't strive for flashy or over the top clothing or gear and learns to make the best of terrible situations. While his life is happy, he, unfortunately, has no friends. Apparently it is not appealing to land loving viscets for a viscet to smell of fish and salt water almost all the time. While most - particularly the merchants who trade with him - will tolerate it with cheerful smiles, no one really lingers around long. After all, aside from his strange smell, he isn't the best at socializing, especially when the conversation rolls away from water and fish.
Zale is knowledgeable of the sea, though he doesn't share this knowledge all that often. His dream is to find an island where he can live in peace without having to worry to impress anyone or appear suitable for those who may cross his path. All he really wants in life is to be by the ocean and do what he loves to do the most.
