Story;;Part One ;; The Loss of Key"Key. Come on!" The white maned viscet snapped in an angry tone, his impatience growing by the second. "If we don't hurry they will catch us!" He snapped again. "Hush, Nuke. I can't concentrate with your snapping at me." Key said as
Nukpana paced back and forth in front of the door of the small jewelry store. Key was busy trying to break into the small case that was locked rather tightly.
Nukpana was on lookout duty. Little did he know that this wouldn't be a routine robbery.
"Gotcha!" Key said, and snatched the beautiful diamond necklace, and threw it in the bag with the rest of the jewels. "And we are out of here."
Nukpana said, and the two moved back up into their small escape route up to the roof.
Nukpana sent Key up first, still keeping watch to make sure no bystanders or witnesses were present. No one at this late hour. And Key had disarmed the cameras for the next few minutes.
Something was wrong.
Nukpana could feel it. His mane prickled, and the vision flashed before his eyes. His ears pinned back against his head, and he froze for a bit. He then flung himself up the ladder, and leapt onto the roof from the eighth step. "Key!" He cried, dashing for the fire escape that led down the building. "Key!" He called into the alley, where his voice echoed.
"Run, Hades! Get out of here!"
Nukpana paused, before continuing down the fire escape. The scream echoed in the alley below him. Tears stunt his eyes as he knew it was key. This wasn't the authorities. No. But who? He saw the grey and white viscet in the vision, but he had never seem the viscet before today.
His paws thudded against the ground as he landed in the alleyway. Raising his head, he saw the awful sight. Tears now freely flowed from his eyes. He spotted the grey and white viscet standing over the dying Key.
"Had a lovely scream, didn't he?" the viscet cooed in a dark voice. He tilted his head, a wicked grin splitting his muzzle.
"I am going to end you."
Nukpana said, his voice quivering in pure anger. His muscles twitched in anticipation, ready to lunge forwards, and end this viscet.
"I am counting on it.."Part Two ;; The Beginning of The End Nukpana went in a downward spiral. He stopped his thievery, and headed down a path of savagery. He would attack lonesome souls, who dared enter his land or cross his path. Anger, a boiling hatred for the killer of his partner had blinded him, fooled him. He would harm poor, unfourtunate souls. Why, one was about to be harmed now.
"My, my. What do we have here?" The white maned viscet cooed, his body blanketed by the shadow of the towering building to his hind. He cackled as the viscet froze in its tracks.
"What ever is the matter? Oh please don't be scared..." He said in a mocking voice, taunting the young viscet, before appearing at its front, dragging a paw under its chin. "My, you are a lovely dove, aren't you, love?" He cackled, the female frozen as the male taunted her.
Her multicolored coat glistened in the pale moonlight, showing off her dazzling beauty. She pinned her ears flat against her head, warning the brute to back up. He chuckled. "What is your name, my dear?" He asked.
"Duchess." She snapped, upper lip curling softly.
Nukpana smirked. "A fiery one, aren't you?" He said, before making a quick move. "We can't have much of that, can we?" He asked with a taunting smirk as he pinned her. She clawed at his arms and legs, leaving marks that would heal in little time.
"You have made a costly mistake, my dear." He said, as she squirmed beneath his paws. She sent her claws taking up his cheeks, only infuriating the male further. He snarled.
"I am only returning the favor..." he said.
Nukpana was now cleaning off his claws, the water stained red. No. He hadn't killed her. But, he left enough marks for her to run back and spread the word about the Evil Spirit. Maybe he could terrorize that vile creature that dared harm him. He snarled at the thought of the viscet.
He was on a mission. He would spread the word enough about his still being alive, enough maybe to scare the cowardly viscet who harmed him to perhaps do somethinf outrageously stupid. Maybe he would find him then, and have his revenge. Until then, he was stuck in a rut. He couldn't move, he couldn't advance towards his victory. It was like one long chess match. Every time he thought he was close, there was always some way for his opponent to escape.
He growled in frustration, and slid up the fire escape of the abandoned building. He climbed through the open window, and leapt down onto the floor. It was an old factory. What they had made, he didn't know. All that was left was a few machines unknown to him, and a bunch of boxes. He moved up to the office area, which was his sleeping area.
He laid down on the mat he had our, and rolled a metal ball under his paw as he got lost amid his own trains of thought. He rolled onto his back, rolling the back between his forepaws. He was scheming, trying to think of some way to get to Vide. He knew he name of his oppressor after having done some research. He found a small trail the viscet had left.
As
Nukpana lay there thinking, something hit him. Well, two things. He had dropped the metal ball on his chest, causing the real gasp. He rolled to his side, rubbing his wounded chest.
Nukpana flattened his ears. He roared in anger at the very thought.
Vide was still terrorizing him. Vide had begun to transform
Nukpana into another Vide to ruin and corrupt others lives. He snarled, rolling onto his belly. What would Key think of him? His body shuddered, and he began to weep. Why? How?
Nukpana was continuing down, and like a whirlpool, he was taking everyone around him down with him.
