Why you want this Dragonbird: Oh, my, goodness. Well, when I first found this thread, I was just like, 'Oh my gosh! These are so adorable!' I really, really wanted to adopt one. So, I saw the first one up for a adopt. It was really pretty, but wasn't quite...me if you know what I mean. Still, I was thinking I'd try out for it anyway. I decided I'd apply to be mod, then go fill out the form for it. So I filled out the mod form, posted it, and went to the front page. Then I realized...there were two up for adoption now! And the second one...oh my goodness was it me. He is simply gorgeous, with swirling, twirling patterns that remind me of waterfalls and hidden places. I love his colors; so bright and beautiful, reminding me of a peacock's shimmering feathers with their shiny blues and greens. And the feathers are just absolutely perfect, their bright tips finishing off the design like icing on the cake. <3
The species is just amazing, too. I adore their almost horse-like appearance, with the beautiful, exotic feathers that remind me, almost, of wings. They look so wild and free and mystical! <3
I want Akiko so I could love him and draw him a ton! I'd make a thread for him and any future Dragonbirds, and take very careful, loving care of him. I would be honored if I was chosen to give Akiko the amazing home he deserves. <3

Why you want this Dragonbird: I would love to have this dragon bird because she is sooo cute and i love all animals but my 2 favorite are dragons and birds. When i saw this forum i got so excited because they are all so cute and it was hard to decide which one to choose so after like 5 minutes i chose this one. I love to just look up at the sky during the night and see all the stars and differnet swirls and sometimes i even see the space station or planets. I use my telescope to look at them and to find constellations. I really like the orion. He is over my house each night. Well that's what this dragon bird reminds me of so i would really like to have her. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Because they are so flippen gorgeous! I bet you are tired of hearing this from me, but I just cannot get over how pretty and amazing they are! They are so unique looking, nothing like some of the horse adopts I see floating around on this site. I love how hyper and energetic these creatures are. And the jumping thing? So amazing! Wish I could jump that high!

I want this particular DBH because he is my favorite color scheme! I love the colors blue and gold. I mean, my name is Azure after all! He has gold eyes which just made me want him even more! I just love characters with gold eyes. :3 His markings are so intricate and I just want to draw him! I love the little swirly on his tail, so cute! I will probably draw this boy, and I really need the practice drawing equine-like creatures, so he will get a ton of love!

I love the colors, they reminded me of a peacock. I'd love to have a peacock, but my parents sadly won't let me. They also reminded me of Florida, which is possibly my favorite place in the world, I vacation there every winter. So when I went to choose a name, I was going to google "names that mean peacock", but I went for "paradise" instead because that's what she eventually reminded me of. Some mysterious, awesome paradise I would love to be a part of.
