Cinna looks up to his big sister, Cerraa, of course. Now, she isn’t his blood sister, as she’s a carnation cat. Meaning she has light red fur, and carnations seeming to grow from parts of her body. He looks up to her because she’s brave and wise. She also helped her parents care for him. He loves his adoptive parents, but Cerraa is the one he looks up to.

He looks up to his sibling, Lunalys, more than anything. Being raised with high expectations was challenging, and the role he played was never quite what their parents had wanted. Still, in spite of the pressure and anxiety he felt on a daily basis, Lunalys was always an inspiration to him. When they were kits, she stood up for him and encouraged him to find his place. He has never had half her ambition or prowess, but has found a position among The Lunars where he feels a true sense of belonging.

That warm glowing feeling, that radiates from a deep place within, it couldn't have ever existed without Lunalys. Just like the moons that overlook their home, bathing them all in a brilliant echoing radiance of daylight, he and the others she has inspired are reflections of her light.

Annalise wouldn't have found his place if not for her, it felt like a hopeless uphill battle he could never overcome, daunted by the haunting shadow of expectation and failure. Lunalys always saw potential in him, knew he would one day find a purpose to serve that only he suited, and uplifted him every moment of her rise to leadership. She showed him the benefit of his kind and trusting nature, his quiet poise, and love to wander. She showed him he could move with the winds of the ley lines without abandoning his family or running away from responsibilities, instead he could use that passion to make connections and deliver messages less brave souls wouldn't dare take the risk to.

No matter how long they live, Annalise doesn't think he will ever be able to repay her for the role she's played in his life.

Lokelani is great, and kind, and sweet, and welcoming, even if she can sometimes be a little overprotective, and overcautious, and way too reliant on tradition, and… oh, no lumenwing is perfect anyway! To Cannalily, the closest to perfect one can get is Lokelani, so she needs to replicate that with every single action she takes in the hopes that someday, maaaaaybe, if she’s suuuuuper lucky, she’ll be able to be almost as good a Matriarch as Lokelani is!!

Prompt: Sinbad is too high up on his own ego to look up at anyone, on the contrary, his neck aches from how frequently he looks down on others—or so he says. The honor of Sinbad’s envy was snuffed out years ago by the paws of a great and noble Lumenwing, who he stuck to like a shadow in his youth. Such a starry eyed view of another Lumenwing cost him a leg, giving light to the falsehoods that surrounded the one whom he use to admire. He’s been keen to avoid a repeat of history ever since. Nevertheless, sometimes he’ll find himself admiring others in private, little things, quiet things; kind gestures, humble strengths, and sefless acts. He’d never profess it aloud, but past his sly smirk and puffed out chest, lies a tender heart, easily moved into silent admiration for the good that goes unseen.
