Damn, I redesigned this dude so many times. I just couldn't figure out what I wanted. They almost got scrapped several times, not sure how they survived.

To win this critter, give me ideas for future adopts. It could be design themes, comp prompts, future mini events, something else you'd like to see, anything. You can share as few (1+) or as many as you can think of.

competition wise

• design and item competitions - where you have to design say the photo in a locket or color a rock and best one that fits the critter wins
  
• abstract art comps - literally just have people draw something abstract in under 5 minuets - but it cannot resemble anything recognizable
  
• bring an item/offering comps
• guess what i am thinking of - be it a song, a number, an animal, trivia or even guess the theme of the adopt
• lore prompts - specifically prompts that have people develop either the adopt or a critter they already own with that adopt
  
  design wise
• colorful animals like snakes, newts, posion dart frogs or birds of paradise
• pick a palette and moodboard/song - and you draw insp from those
• i just like simple designs! heck you could cover part of the design in mud and have people add/ask for one thing on the design!

ideas: Oh boy, prepare yourself.

Designs wise:
1) Metaphorical (wolf in sheep’s clothing, devil in disguise, cloud nine, etc)
2) Cryptids, Mythological creatures
3) Opposites (Realistic markings but unrealistic colors, contrasting color palettes, frightening traits but soft colors/markings, etc)
4) Seasonal themes (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter)
5) Food! (Sushi, pancakes, fruit bowl, hamburger, etc)
6) Candy (Cotton candy, gumdrops, skittles, vibrant and colorful!)
7) Animal mix ups (zebra patterns but skink color palette, sea turtle colors but the markings of a tapir, etc)


Future prompts:
1) Song recommendations based on a genre
2) Picture of the best/worst/coolest/weirdest [subject here]
3) Draw to win challenge or draw in a different style challenge or funniest poor drawing wins, etc.
4) Some character development prompts (what would they like to eat, what do they like to collect, how do they perceive others, etc)
5) CS pet dress up challenge prompts
6) A fun interactive game prompt? Battleship? Spot the difference? Crossword? Puzzle?
7) Decipher a message with the given clues on how to solve it
8) Positive prompt raffles (what made you smile today? What’s something good you’re looking forward to this week? Write a positive affirmation to yourself, etc)
9) Riddles or questions
10) Short story prompts (creative freedom? Fun nothing to do with adopt prompts. Write a fable on why the stars flicker, write a funny story about how caterpillars react to butterflies, I dunno)

Mini events:
1) RNG games, rolling for chances at items/MYO tickets
2) During holidays introduce and offer MYOs with specific species or traits that need to be used (like a spring event that requires a plant growth trait on a banderfloof or something)

Other:
1) Artist entry tryouts
2) Eventually some new and exciting species drops during milestones or events
3) Uhhhm… Not sure if I can edit this once posted but if I can I’ll add more if I think of any for any category!

- spalted wood
- rainbow eucalyptus
- types of candies or desserts
- aesthetics! (kidcore, cottagecore etc)
- cool birds (bleeding heart doves, nicobar pigeons etc)
- types of plants and flowers
- series of designs where they only use different shades of the same colour

events:
- a choose your own adventure type thing? where there's a short story with two or so options and people vote on which they'd like, and you get different prizes depending on which option you choose
- small item colour-ins

ideas:
summer event where you "dig" through sand to find goodies. you could win a critter or a myo. you could also win currency if you plan on opening a shop! you could also find a sand dollar which could be a token for a raffle that's at the end of the event. there could be a limit for how often you can dig, maybe once per day or once per 12 hours.

a similar event for the holidays where presents have been hidden and the players have to "look" in certain places to find them. the presents would be the same as above, winning a critter, myo and other things.

i think a cool event could be like how CS holds events, but with more stakes. users would pick a side and then "compete" by completing tasks, trivia, etc. the side with the most amount of points at the end wins something. the top 10 players with the most amount of points could also win something too!

some cool prompts for comps:

write or show me what this critter does during a thunderstorm. (simple writing/drawing prompt, but I like ones that flesh out the critter's personality)

uh oh this critter lost their colors! can you help me find them? (users must suggest a color palette)

give me a moodboard that fits this critter! (users must suggest a moodboard)

oh gosh, this critter looks spooked. what scared them? (critter has a frightened expression, could be changed to some other emotion, but the general idea is that the users write or draw it)

aww, this critter got covered in mud, what happened to them? (similar as above, users write or draw what they were doing but this time the design is mostly covered by "mud" and would be revealed after the winner is chosen)

ideas: Here's a moodboard/palette website that I sometimes use for adopts: bloop. It's very helpful because it comes with hexcodes and individual pages for each palette when you click on them, so you can easily link a palette when you need to provide a credit link.
