love the colors and the design!
fable name: illuminant
prompt: stargazing!
✰ ⋆illuminant has always been somewhat of a loner, opting for silence over the company of others - but when she sets out on a patch of land far out in the wilderness and the many white flecks in the heavens shine down upon her, when she feels their presence, each and every one of the burning orbs millions of miles away, she really doesn't mind the company.
in a way it feels like she's where she belongs as she gazes into the glittering night-sky.
✶ ⋆she sits with them until dawn breaks and her friends fade away from view, one by one, the bittersweet goodbye lasts for a short time in her mind as she packs up smiling, content knowing that
she'll get to see them again come nightfall.

fable name: Asmodeus
prompt:
Asmodeus is obsessed with wandering the Earth, far above the pits of the Underworld they are from. People watching is their hobby, and learning from life experiences is their goal while walking the grounds of Earth. It can get quite boring down below, watching over the pits of the Underworld, which is why they often sneak away from their responsibilities.
Asmodeus has gained lots of knowledge over the ages, learning from fellow Fables about how life up above is. The world has seen wars and rebirth, destruction and reconstruction. Asmodeus witnessed this through memories left in books, as they have the ability to recall memories embedded in objects.
Despite being known as a "King of Hell", Asmodeus is actually rather docile and filled with curiosity. They can be intimidating when they need to be, but this is not usually the case. [141 Words]

fable name: Fatuus
prompt: Will-o'-the-wisps
Fatuus is obsessed by the will-o'-the-wisps or ignes fatui that are suspended at night over the marsh. These are small trembling flames that appear every night right above the level of water. They have different colours: the majority is green, but some are blue, red or yellow. He believes they are the spirits of ancient fairies who could grant him a wish if only he could get close enough without letting them escape. He has not yet succeeded: every time he tries to approach, the flickering lights fade away among the wetness of the swamp.
Fatuus' obsession is not just curiosity. He really needs his wish to come true and will not have peace until it will be done. No one knows what this wish is about since Fatuus doesn't want to risk saying it for fear that it won't come true (it is well known that you should never say aloud a wish or it will never happens). Some fables believe that it's about his lost sister, others say that he wishes to see the desert. Every time they try to guess Fatuus just smiles at them and walks away.
Not a night goes by without Fatuus sitting in the swamp, looking at the trembling flames, his eyes half-closed. Sometimes a tear runs down his face, sometimes he smiles. Then he stands up and, walking in the water, tries to reach the flames. When they inevitably disappear Fatuus is not disappointed or angry. Instead, he stays there, in the exact point where the flames were and looks at the sky. After a while he returns to his home and goes to sleep.

fable name: Star-sparkle
prompt: reserving with 'sequins' ^^
Some more notes:
Was named by a child at their bonding as was tradition.
It is abnormal for fables to bond with children (in this world, at least ^^')
Partially because of bonding with a child, she was introduced to sequins.
Child is adult now, would like to change Star's name to something mature but she won't here of it. She likes the name she was given and she would like more sparkly sequins now, please. 0u0

fable name: Esmeray
prompt:
A unique habit that Esmeray has picked up is braiding fur! She recently learned how and, for lack of a better way to put it, is obsessed. For countless hours, she would just sit in the library, braiding her tail and reading books. Soon it became a nervous habit, and although no one knows how she manages it with her hooves, no one bothers to ask. She would just start ranting about the art of braiding and how many types of braids there are, and how it’s really easy, you know, when you get the hang of it. Her hooves are a blur, braiding and unbraiding her fur when she gets worried. No one knew that there were that many books on braiding in the library, but now everyone knows all too well how many books there are.

fable name: Kelpie
prompt:
Being a vulture culture kid, Kelpie is obsessed with collecting skulls!
She would never hurt a living being herself - but ever since she was a little fawn, she was drawn to dead critters with pure biologist's curiocity. Studying and admiring the bones, nature's hidden frames usually covered by flesh and fur, she'd come to collect most intriguing exemplars she would find scavending around the woods and fields. Collecting smaller bones have proved to be too challenging of a task, they would get misplaced and lost so easily, but skulls, cleaned in the ant hills and glued with tree sap to hold, were possible to collect and store. Taxidermy has become her life's obsession and her collection is impressive, containing many various skulls of different animals, from mice to bears! She also collects various horned beetles' dried carapaces, as their varied and peculiar horn shape is mesmerising her no less than skulls.

fable name: Requiem | Latin meaning "song for the souls of the dead"
prompt: (289 words, lyrics are from Hunter's Moon by Ghost)
Deep in the ancient, primordial forest a haunting tune floats over the swirling, hypnotic fog. Sometimes a gentle hum, sometimes an eerie, guttural wail, locals have told countless stories over the decades about the origin of this melody but none seemed to know with any certainty.
♪ Back in the old cemetery
I'm dying to see you, my friend
Though my memories have faded, they
Come back to haunt me once again ♫
Little do they know a fable nearly as long-lived as the land itself roams those gloomy woods, a silent guardian for the weathered tombs of fables who had lived long ago. Always a solitary creature, Requiem finds solace in the silence. When they lie still amongst the mossy tombstones their dappled coat could be mistaken for another old headstone being reclaimed by the earth itself. With no one else to converse with (just the way they like it), they often spend hours singing songs to spirits that still lingered.
Near immortality comes with its challenges however... Approximately 75 years ago when Requiem last visited the bustling market, they overhead a traveling bard, pausing only long enough to hear a few bars before hurrying back to their sacred forest. Seventy-five years later and Requiem still has that tune stuck in their head. Being the recluse they are, it had been the first new song Requiem had heard in quite some time. Obsession is perhaps one word for it, but Requiem would say this song has practically possessed them! They whisper it, they belt it, they sing it as they drift off to sleep or as they're bounding through the woods. After so long the song itself began to feel like an old friend only kept alive in their memories...
