Rip the node from the Pulsing Tree, carve and whittle with his blade, tear the newborn Heart of Light. It's not easy work, and it requires extreme mental fortitude to destroy one's creations over and over again... so Magic Trick has fun with it! He slips the blade under the bark and snaps the tender, brittle wood; the slit becomes the opening maw of a fabled dragon. The Heart, surrounded by thick node-veins, becomes the centerpiece of a lotus flower. Magic Trick's work always has an ethereal effect, lifted to magical heights with the Heart's gentle glow. Magic Trick makes his beautiful, fleeting lanterns, then he smashes and shatters and rips them apart.
It's cathartic.
