Marielle would be a janitor at NASA. Hear me out.
As a calf, she was always interested in space. Not just because of the markings on her hide, but because it was genuinely fascinating. I mean, black holes? Dark matter? Sounds like science fiction, but it's science fact! Unfortunately, she genuinely struggled in learning about all the math and equations and research processes. She could never keep a fact in her head longer than a few minutes and moving numbers around? Forget it.
It took her a while to figure out that her dream wasn't realistic for her - she just kept trying and trying and hitting the same exact wall. Fine, then. What else could she do? Well, Marielle dabbled in astrology for a little while. It was nice to try and relate the constellations to her life for a little while. Unfortunately, her scientific background made it hard for her to accept a lot of the pseudo-science in the astrology community, so she wound up fading out of that area too.
For a while, the only thing she could do with her dream was paint the stars while supporting herself off various odd jobs. It wasn't the most thrilling or fulfilling life, but she got by. Then one day, she saw an ad for a job as a janitor at NASA. Felt like a long shot, but even if she couldn't do science there she'd do anything to be there. Much to Marielle's shock, she was hired!
Today, Marielle couldn't be happier. She regularly gets to talk to the people who make the magic happen and while she still struggles to wrap her head around the science, she's getting to know her heroes on a more human (bovine?) level. She finds great satisfaction in cleaning and is often praised for how spotless she leaves a room. Overall, this is the best (if most roundabout) realization of her dream she could have hoped for.
