A Plate Dragon is a subspecies of dragon! They have "Plates" on the side of their cheeks and on their butts! They also have scales around their bodies such as on their faces, legs, and tail! Another unique feature are the "spikes" on the end of their tails and horns that can range in many different shapes and sizes that are used for protection and battle. They usually live in jungles or forests but can be found anywhere. They are extremely venomous, and can projectile their venom when in danger! They use this tactic when feeling threatened or scared so as long as you have good intentions they wont hurt you! They are feisty but you'll be lucky to have one as your friend if it gives you its trust!

prompt: "Excuse me, sir" a spider said to the gigantic Plate Dragon. Squealing like a little child, he looks around frantically, before hearing the spider say, "down here". Looking down at the ground, his eyes were wide as he saw a big spider. "Please don't hurt me" he said with a whine, nervously staring at the spider. "You're the giant." The spider snickered, and he huffed. "Do you have any bugs?" the spider rolled its eyes and asked, and the plate dragon responded with a "Unfortunately not". "Lame." Said the spider, wandering off into the distance, leaving a scared Plate Dragon behind.

It was never exactly a matter of "enough is enough". The word "enough" did not exist in this Plate Dragon's vocabulary.
The Dragon hoarded spiders, if nothing else. They regarded them as family. It was, admittedly, rather fair, given their own arachnid form chased so many others away. Spiders were the only companions they could have who could have certainly cared less for the appearance of their form. It had caused them to shy away from the company of others, all in all, but they didn't find themself to be discontented. No, not all. The whispers and friendly chitters of their brethren, as they called them, kept them going about their days, happy as a clam. It could never just be one spider. It was all or nothing in their happy little mind.
Day in and day out, they had decided to take it upon themself to tend to their dear companions every need. After all, they were the bigger, stronger friend to them — it surely would be no skin off their back. As such, they are sort of seen as a parent friend to their dear companions, helping tend to their every need and ensure all is well throughout the life cycles of their friends. It may be hard, given all of them thrive a far lesser life, but it is bittersweet all the same. Happiness is always the memories made along the way, right? No matter how terrifying you may appear...

"Can you, like, please move into your temporary container?" He muttered to the Rose Tarantula as he tried to gently nudge her with a leaf. His pet was not complying though, instead skittering in the complete opposite direction. "I just want to clean out your terrarium, man," he muttered in disappointment, "I promise I'll feed you after! I'll even give you your favorite!" The tarantula looked up at him, as if considering it, and then raised a leg up in as if she was going to, yet again, move away from the temporary container. "Fine! Fine! I'll throw in TWO whole Horn Worms with the usual crickets. Just, please, let me clean your tank." Seeming pleased, the tarantula crawled over into the container. With a sigh, the Plate Dragon closed the container on up and sat it to the side to get to work on cleaning her cage. Honestly, she could be such a diva sometimes. He couldn't believe he'd just had to bribe her again.
