Prompt:0000000000Ember is the proudest of their best friend, Petal that Dances in Breeze. Ember and Petal have been best friends since as long as they can remember, basically since Ember was born. Petal is just two moons older than Ember, so they grew up together and though they didn't end up going into the same branch of training, they stuck close together throughout their adolescence and adulthood. Ember decided to be a provider to The Fallen, whereas Petal chose to train under their healer, Owl in Mid Flight. Unfortunately, Owl died unexpectedly during a rockslide, leaving Petal to fend for herself.
0000000000Ember did what they could to help Petal, but they knew nothing about herbs. Fortunately, Petal had already learned much under Owl's wing, and she was able to learn from nearby loners and on a few occasions, she figured out how to commune with their ancestors to get further guidance. After some time, Petal earned their full status as healer of The Fallen and a well-loved member of the tribe. Ember was so proud of Petal, who they thought deserved it more than any cat.
0000000000Almost a year later, Petal was selected to go on a quest with a few specifically chosen tribemates to find a new home for The Fallen. And though Ember misses their friend dearly, they could not be more proud of everything Petal has overcome and achieved so far.
