Make Your Own is where you decide on the design using the provided base/concept, or pay someone to do the design for you once you purchase a MYO ticket. The design is basically up to you so long as the traits/colors follow the artist providing the lineart(s) rules.

How you buy a MYO, my assumption is you send a trade to the owner offering C$ in exchange for a MYO ticket. You will know you been approved for a MYO when the owner accepts the trade. So basically your steps are to
1. Look at what types of MYO are offered.
2. Get familiar with the traits to better decide which MYO is for you
3. Fill out the form to buy MYO tickets
4. Send a trade with C$ to Adopt Owner and wait for it to be accepted. (make sure to state which MYO you want in the trade and that you are offering the correct amount of C$)
5. Wait for approval on this forum.
6. Enjoy designing your MYO.
