Kiras always been a braver kit. She's explored while her littermates were still clinging to mom, and was the first to jump into any situation, even when others warned her otherwise.

This was the case, one day as she and some playmates were playing by a stream. She noticed that it ran right by their colony, deep into the woods. Seeming like an adventure with a solid way home, she lead her friends down the stream.

At some point, she ended up swimming in the water to lead them. Her friends pointed out that the currents could get too strong, but she didn't mind that, she was a big kit after all! She was too distracted with her friends to notice the river was coming to an end, an abrupt one at that. The last thing she remembers of that day was a sense of... floating, and a calming voice before going into deep waters.

It wasn't long before some master water storkies from the colony found her, but hours for her to finally awaken. She stayed close to her friends after that, being a little more hesitant to explore far. But even with that, there's something about that river that was enchanting, calling her back..
