I really like the aesthetic of tv static so thought it would be fun to play around with that idea on a kalon!
they're a little cracked and broken, but they're still good, right? surely nothing's happened...

The heavens were supposed to be kept safe.

They were supposed to be sacred grounds for spiritual exchanges, shrine disputes, and other celestial commemorations. The pearly white of the heavens was not meant to be tainted with so much red.

Cheren was just a simple messenger, meant to deliver and carry news. Now, he was the unfortunate witness of an unforgettable sight— the heavenly officials had been challenged by some flashy newcomer, and then it was over in a blink. The only thing remaining was the silvery flutter of butterflies, and the bright crimson residue against the poor marble floors.

prompt :: Once this kalon was whole and uncracked, that however was long ago. Though this kalon cannot fully remember who they once were after the accident, they do remember how it happened. They were working on a small project to learn more about themselves, It did not go as plan. the details still a blur and the project lost to time. They wandered for a long time in deep thought looking for more answers. The kalon did make a new name for itself eventually due to the fact when interacting with others it would be a little off not having one, It decided stasis was a good name due to feeling like it was in one for so long. Days go by now and this kalon is now looking forward to future and where it will lead them.

A little buzz hummed under his paws as he clipped the wires, attached them to the battery. He felt a click as he attached the wires, another buzz humming when he fixed his mistakes. Finally, he flipped the switch.
The light bulb lit up. Duller than he expected, but brighter than its surroundings. He levelled his eyes to look at the light bulb, which dimmed and brightened as he played with the switch. Puny, high school science equipment could still produce something like this. Electricity could be produced from something so small.

Byte was an attempt at making a Kalon that could display images or videos upon his side, but due to some fatal errors he simply can’t. Since this error, he was tossed aside and left to himself, never to be furthered from beta testing. The time alone lead him to develop himself, he wanted to be more than just some immoral science experiment gone wrong. He took on the name Byte, to remember his “purpose”. He decided never to rely on or trust anyone else. Who knows may toss you aside the moment you don’t work as they had expected?
