She has many useless “skills” that she is quite pleased with but at the current moment her favorite one is to drink a whole can of soda in one big sip, without stopping for air- then when it’s all down she lets out the biggest burp you’ve ever heard!
This makes her a riot at parties, at least the first time she does it… it gets kind of boring after a few times but she thinks it’s great, other people don’t have the heart to tell her how annoying it is… she doesn’t have a whole heck of a lot to be proud of in the eyes of her peers. But someone really needs to tell her to stop putting it on her job applications.

Prompt: While doing her best to avoid her responsibilities, and partially to make the guilt of doing so up to herself, Goldendawn made up a game for her and her colony to play- she calls it, very simply, "rock throw". Rock throw, in its early forms, was just throwing a rock across the water and seeing how far it could go. But as it went on, she added more and more rules to it- for example, one has to do a big fancy jump in the air, and the more elaborate the maneuver, the better the score.
All this is to say, Goldendawn is the colony champion at rock throw- at the expense of her more important Heart duties! One may call her lazy- but she'd tell you, hey, she made a whole fun game to lighten the colony's spirits. The other cats can do the hunting and patrolling- but according to her, rock throw is just as important.

There is no such thing as a useless skill in Ichiro's mind. Everything in the world has a purpose including where he is going. Now where was that again? No matter he would eventually find his way or something to eat. Now that its mentioned he is rather hungry. Ichiro fumbles about endlessly laughing. Staring at the trees around him, seeing all the things to be seen. It was lonely though, not being able to find your way. The truth is, he saw something really nice and decided to take a closer look at it. That's where it started anyway, a shiny thing. It's always a shiny thing that seems to pull the poor sucker away. More or less he noticed that the leaves on the bush were slightly greener in some spots really pretty like and decided to see if he could find more. Then as he was traveling about he forgot what he was looking for.

Eventually he found a rock that was a different shape from the rest, and color as well! only slightly though, nothing like it was so different as the sky and earth, but different enough for our young adventurer to notice, and get lost searching for another. This is His truest skill, seeing the difference in the world around him. The tiny details that mark the trees, the shape of the clouds and the different hums of the bees. It really doesn't do much good on the large scale of things, and has honestly gotten him into more trouble then good. More then getting lost, he's been kidnapped several times, and even ended up in someone's home.

He's a friendly sort though, don't worry about his behavior. He'll be kind enough to get out of it and while he doesn't know what to do, or how to do it. He eventually finds a way to get distracted once again.

Prompt: Liquid Gold can vibrate her eyes! It might not be at all helpful out in the wild, or in battle, but it sure is fun to use to scare the kits! She found this out when she was having a massive panic attack in her den, and a friend walked in to comfort her. A few minutes later and they were both laughing hysterically at Gold's newfound talent.

But like seriously...this has no use whatsoever. Why can she do this? What's she gonna do with it? Vibrate her eyes to scare away rogues and monsters? I don't think so. Honestly, why can cats even DO this to begin with? o-O

Prompt: Most cats have a special skill or talent which they are proud of, and Lionheart is no exception. Sure, he is all brawn and can duel with the best of them, but that's not what he likes to be known for. In fact, he feels most accomplished when he is showing off his hidden ability: this big tough guy actually has an uncanny talent for catching fireflies. He can leap into the air and snag one in his mouth, careful not to chomp down on it, and when he opens his mouth, it flies out - blinking irately - completely unharmed. He enjoys showing it to the kits, as they seem to have the most appreciation for this little show. Most of the older cats just wonder why he doesn't eat the fireflies or focus on catching something more... edible.

"Welcome one, welcome all to the annual Cattiopeia talent show! It is amazing to see you all here tonight- what a fantastic crowd!" The ringleader said enthusiastically, prancing about with incredible stage presence. "Tonight you will see marvels from all over the land, from the strongest cat in Cattiopeia to a literal angel, with a signing voice to match" the ringleader called out, making the young kits in the crowd sit on the edge of their seats in awe.
Maggie peaked out from behind the stage curtains to take a look at the crowd she will be facing. Aw man, there's a lot of them... she thought to herself, her tail flicking with anxiety. She was never the one to radiate confidence, but tonight she wanted to prove that she was more than a pretty face. She took a deep breath in an attempt to calm down, before her ears perked up towards the ringleader as he spoke again.
"Our first act is one full of magical music that'll get you on your paws and dancing in no time" he said enticingly. "Performed by the magnificent Maggie and her fabulous flute, please welcome them to the stage!" the ringmaster said as he moved to the side to announce Maggie. She padded onto the stage, faking her confidence, because in reality she was absolutely trembling. She gripped the flute tightly, but she could already feel her paws becoming sweaty. She took another deep breath, inhaling positivity and exhaling any anxious thoughts. What she was about to do would shock the entire audience, in the strangest way possible.
Instead of blowing through her mouth, Maggie started to play the flute through her nose. The crowd gasped with surprise, and many couldn't make out if they were impressed out downright disgusted. There was no denying it though- Maggie's nose-blowing, flute-playing skill was incredible. She could play the flute better than any mouth-breather could, and the audience had a hard time accepting that fact. However, one small kit was not phased and started dancing around, inviting others to join in. While Maggie was lost in her element, she was unaware of the many cats dancing and bopping to her wonderful tunes. Useless? Maybe. But definitely not forgotten.
