Prompt: kittens are usually nameless until they are ready to begin their training. Then the parents will reveal their name or the leader will decide a name. If a parent decides the name, usually it’s based off of a simple item like a flower or maybe weather or an animal that really just speaks to them that this is their kitten’s name. Examples such as Grass or Sun or Coyote. If the leader names them, usually it’s based off of the trait they saw the kitten excel at as they grew up. A kitten could be named Strike for how well they can land a target or maybe even Runner for how fast they are. This cat here was named by their mother and gjven the name Dandelion.

Prompt: A play on the Eastern Bluebird. My clowder theme is based after birds of all kind! Seeing as my other male took the name Kingfisher for his similar color and eyes, Easton fits the beak for his blue eyes representing the majority of the feathering, and his gorgeous coat being the chin, neck and undersides. || c

Prompt: He looks like a goldfish and my Clowder (one of them) is called Fish's Pond. He is happy and bright, and loves to swim, just like a goldfish! He also can create things very quickly, and is a very fast swimmer. The humans love him, and know him as Cheese. He also makes some cheesy jokes!

Prompt: One day the clan was lacking food and this cat was in a task force to bring food to the group. They all agreed to split up and meet again when they got their respective food. This cat wanted to find fish, so it went to the nearest river and had a fight with a huge bream that it brought to the clan.

Prompt: A Greek name meaning "flame-coloured, red". From a (currently unnamed) clowder that used to take on names from nature but as humans began to return they started to take on more human-like names. Sometimes they gained these names from humans who they came across that gave them names, other times they were names they overheard. Pyrrhus was named for orangey colored pelt by a human the clowder encounters fairly frequently.

Prompt: My clowder's naming system is really just finding a one word way to describe the cat. I have Squeaker, who squeaks instead of meows, and Cloud, a dominant white cat. Sunrise was named for his orange coat that reminds me of the sky at dawn, aka sunrise.
