I was too late. The sky cracked open above me and I felt the flood rush over me. As the lightning cracked above my head, I looked up just in time to see the flaming branches come down upon my head.
And the fire cleansed me.

It was a windy and unforgiving day. Cassidy was in charge of bringing the cattle in for the day from the outer paddocks. But the winds were strong and powerful and suddenly an almighty crack echoed through the air as a tree was uprooted. The cattle, frightened and scared started a stampede. Cassidy looking back witnessed the horrific sight at the stampede frozen in fear. The bull was charging her way, she jumped back but not quick enough as the bull's horn sliced her eye leaving her blinded.

He thought if he told the tale of how he’d traveled through their tunnels, they’d be impressed with his courage. The scents in the tunnel were overwhelming. He couldn’t tell how fresh they were until the dog sprang out of the dark. He didn’t know they’d been having trouble with a rouge cat recently. They didn’t expect to see any Courage of the Clouds cats in the tunnels. Big mistake. His scars show a reminder of their rage and his courage.
