Tier One: Write or draw about the first time you met and touched your echobi. Adopts (both free and purchased) and customs are often fully feral when they come into Direwood, whether that is due to them being rehabbed from the wild or coming in from a neglect case. You'll meet them when you first pick them up from the Direwood facility. Pups are much tamer, and you will meet them upon birth (even if training is started after they are fully grown).

The first time I met Loui, was much calmer than the first time I had approached Kanagawa, he had not suffered from the long-term abuse the other Echobi had. Although he did not immediately approach me, he also did not retreat and seemed quite interested as his ears perked forward in curiosity. I held out an apple in greeting, similarly to Kanagawa, however, he huffed, and pinned his ears in response. "Not an apple guy, huh?" I mused, thinking about what my next step would be. "Aha!" I exclaimed, pulling out a jolly ball and I grinned as his ears perked once more in new interest. Tossing it towards him, I backed up so he could feel safe to approach the ball. Suddenly, he charged towards it, giving it a sharp kick with his front hoof and letting out a high-pitched grumble. I beamed proudly as he began to play with it, before turning and exiting the pen to allow him to have his fun. We would continue with our fun tomorrow.
