Prompt: Talon's favorite memory is when they got their very first apprentice and had to let them go after bonding. They still daydream about it as they see the kit doing Warrior duties.

The discipline the kitten had been assigned to was a Warrior, and Talon was by far the most experienced and patient. So came the day when the kiddo was named and given to Talon. At first, the new apprentice was literal hell on paws, jumping about the place, singing songs, and twirling around trying to catch their tail. But after a few passive-aggressive words from Talon, and perhaps some bad dad jokes here and there, the stinker actually turned out to be a decent Warrior. Their funny remarks and comically clumsy walking grew on the old cat.

After several moons of training (and dad jokes lol), the kit had grown up and matured, ready to become a full-fledged Warrior. Talon spoke to the leader, and they both agreed on the decision. Nightfall came and Talon anxiously kneaded the ground as their pupil stepped up to the River Rock. He was expecting to feel so emotional and bursting with pride at this moment, which took him off guard. But, nevertheless, he came through and happily congratulated his former student.

Sol climbed over the cement step and joined the conjunction of his fellow claw-mates, ready for their next assignment. He quickly unsheathed his claws and scratched the back of his ear thoughtfully, his spiked collar itching his neck slightly. "Go forth and have no fear!" His leader had finished his speech, sending them to their next assignment. Of which Sol was chosen to lead a small patrol of four (including him) to scare off three worthless kittypets. "This should be easy," Sol muttered as he led the group towards their house. After some unsheathing of claws and snapping of jaws, he was right. It was. But it was over so fast... he wanted something bigger and better than fighting such an easy enemy with a bunch of cats to back him up.

"I want the throne." Sol hissed to his leader, Breaker, with confidence. Breaker was a larger tom than him but Sol was much smarter and faster and could easily outrun him. Breaker snarled, "Show some respe-" He lifted his paw to slap Sol but Sol barely dodged in time and the cats around gathered into a tight circle of excitement. Breaker's eyes darted to around the cats, a bit of anxiety in a red pool of angry lightning, his eyes had shone. Sol swiped at his flank and barely hit him, a small cut stretching across his flank. Breaker snarled in pure anger and tackled him. They rolled for a moment before Sol was pinned. Breaker lifted his paw and held his lower flank down with the other, "You'll regret that!" Before he could move out of the way, Sol reached up and crushed his throat, evidently gaining new power over the on-looking cats.

Firelog was a loner before the clan even first started, one of the most knowledgeable warriors in MistClan. She was (and is) highly respected by all, even in her old age she plays with the kits, they all treasure their time with her saying she has the best stories! Her personal favorite story is when she was first learning how to swim! She kept messing up and had to be rescued many times! She never was the best swimmer, and she admits it, but it is still lovely to know her difficulties makes kits laugh and try harder, knowing even the best warriors are bad at some things!

It had been just around sunset. The sky had been rimmed with pinks and oranges, and stars were beginning to appear in the sky. She hadn't had a home then - she was trying out a wanderer's life, still young and seeking adventures. Born a housecat, she'd always wondered what living wild would be like. To fend for herself, catching her own prey, making her own rules. It had only been a few moons since she'd struck out on her own, but the thought of adventure still made her pawpads tingle.

Unfortunately, her flank had a more unpleasant tingle to it. She still remembered the fox attack well. But that's a story for another time.

Still sore from her wounds, although they'd started to heal by then, she'd given up on finding a meal before darkness fell, and settled in a scratched together nest by the sea. She thought it would be a nice, nearby source of water (unfortunately not), and the sunset looked beautiful over the water.

She didn't remember exactly when the stranger showed up, probably because she'd drifted off before they'd gotten there. But she did remember the prodding in her side, and the irritation, and the sudden face of another cat looming into hers when her eyes begrudgingly opened.

"Hey!" She'd yelped, half-jumping and half-stumbling to her paws. "What do you think you're doing?"

"You're hurt." The other cat had gestured to her flank. Warmth ran down her fur - she must have reopened it when she'd shot out of her nest.

"So that gives you the right to just stroll up to my nest and prod me while I'm asleep?" She lashed her tail, annoyed. She was hungry and sore and tired, and this cat was eyeing her weirdly.

"I was only trying to help." The cat wrapped their sleek tail delicately around themselves as they sat, still eyeing her in that odd, detached way.

"Well, I didn't ask for it." Leafshade, though it wasn't her name back then, huffed, sitting back in her nest before her legs gave out.

"I'm sorry."

Leafshade flicked an ear in surprise. This cat certainly didn't look very sorry, but at this point she was too tired to argue.

"...Good." She replied after a moment. Another beat. "...You know how to heal?"

Maybe she was remembering wrong, but the cat seemed to perk up at that, returning to her flank with a mouthful of herbs, and not another word.

She didn't think they spoke another word at all after that. They'd applied the herbs, given her some to eat (perhaps it was foolish to actually eat them), and then they'd sat together a while. By the time she awoke, the stranger had gone.

Maybe not her most exciting memory, but one she thought about a lot - they had been very calming, she'd later realized. She'd been rather lonely since leaving her housecat life, and it was something she'd actually rather needed. It was most certainly one of her favourite memories.

Prompt: It's hard to choose, but her favorite memory has to be the one where she somehow tricked a dog into thinking she was a weird-looking dog.
She was foraging in a trash can in an ally when a dog comes along yapping, now Foxstrike can talk "dog", although it does sound weird since she is a cat. Foxstrike starts barking back at the dog, asking him what the racket was for, and the dog acts real confused why a cat can understand a dog. She goes on trying to convince the dog that she is in fact just a weird-looking dog. She ends up leaving the dog really confused but convinced. She laughed super hard when he left, and still giggles when telling the story.
