Ever since she laid her eyes on the night sky when she was young, Driftnight’s favourite colour has always been dark purple. Being a scout, Driftnight is allowed to go out into the open fields of the territory to look at the tinted purple night sky in all its glory. When Driftnight was an apprentice, she took after her mentor and his obsession with night patrols, hence her warrior name “Driftnight”. She carried this habit through to her older years of being a scout and has flipped her entire schedule to focus around the night.

She loves the dark purple of the sky, and how it’s a mix of the blueberries that the hunters collect, with a touch of greenery from the healer’s den. The other cats of her clan don’t really understand the beauty of it, but Driftnight does. If she could have any colour pelt in the world, she’d want dark purple fur, to match the smooth night sky.

It's something that stirs the waters of one's heart, and a light that warms the coldest, darkest soul.
