Half’Face always enjoyed brightening up an apprentices day after a long days of work under their own mentor’s trials. At the end of the day, he would slip away from his den and go to their little secret hiding spot to tell the youth of the many tales of his battles, hunts and even a few interesting patrols here and there. He gave the future of the clan a sense of aspiration for their own future and to one day spin their own tales as Half’Face had done for them.

“Hey Berrybreeze! You doing okay?” The red tom asked as he trotted over to where the she cat was at. Said she cat looked up before shaking her head a little.
“Not really… just not having the best morning.”
Crabspots took a few seconds to think before asking, “Hey how about we do something just you and me?”
“But don’t you have a morning patrol to do?”
“Yeah but it can wait. Ramstar will just have to get over it haha. Here follow me.” The tom bounced off with Berrybreeze following. The duo took a little stroll along the territory. Territory being flat there wasn’t much to do but Crabspot’s had a few ideas. He showed her a few little tricks and almost chocked on a butterfly. They laughed it off at the end and thankfully made it in one piece to the final destination, a small cliffside overlooking a valley.
“It’s beautiful Crabspots!”
“Yeah, and guess what?” He asked. Before Berrybreeze could respond, he playfully pushed her to the ground and ran off beside the cliff and down the hill to the valley.
“Hey wait up! Get back here you sneaky crab!” She giggled and raced off after him. Crabspot’s was fast but man was Berrybreeze even faster! She easily caught up to him and tackled him. They rolled on the grass before landing with Crabspot’s on the ground. “Boom! Gotcha! Thought you could outrun me huh!”
“At first yeah but by the looks of it you’re the fastest cat live!” He answered back also laughing. Soon Berrybreeze plopped on the ground beside him and looked around now taking in the scenery.
“How did you find this place Crabspot’s? I don’t think I’ve ever actually been here?”
“Oh! I actually was gonna patrol this area! I thought about it as we were walking and made the fast decision to hit two birds with one stone.”
“Patrol? That’s strange. Ramstar never sends me here when I go on a patrol.”
“Yeah but that’s okay! Now you’ve seen it and since it’s on our territory, we can come here as often as we want!” Crabspot’s exclaimed. He sat back up after a few more minutes and stretched. “We should head back now. Ramstar should be expecting me by now.” He helped Berrybreeze up before making sure she was following as they head back to camp. As expected, Ramstar was waiting for them at the entrance of the camp.
“And where have you two been?” The leader asked with a huff to his tone. Crabspot’s looked at Berrybreeze before smiling and responded, “I took Berrybreeze with me for a little walk. Where we went was where I was gonna patrol anyways sooooo- borders look good and we’re pretty happy now.”
Ramstar was silent before he sighed and walked away to the two’s surprise. “Didn’t know that would actually work. You’re good with your words… hey… Y’know I just realized. I completly forgot what I was upset about earlier!” Berrybreeze meowed before chuckling a little. “Wow! Thanks Crabspot’s. Not only did I forget, I think you made my day a little easier.”
“It’s no problem! I got a lot of other fun things we can do if you’re ever upset again! I’ll always be willing to set aside any duties to help my friend.”

Prompt:Hareheart walked into the prey-sharing cave, the biggest one and the only by the entrance to their tunnel-system home. Hareheart heard a sniffle and felt pity tug on his heart. Someone was crying. Hareheart noticed no one besides the mysterious sad cat was up so he assumed they had awoken to be alone. Hareheart sighed as he felt torn. On one paw, this cat wanted to be alone and he respected other cats' privacy. On the other paw, this cat was sad. It made him sad to hear another cat crying. Alright, that settles it.

Hareheart carefully edged around the corner and saw Peachcrown hunched over with her back to Hareheart, sitting by the entrance to their home and facing the horizon with a nearly-ready-to-rise sun. Hareheart quietly walked and sat beside her, "Hey." Hareheart whispered softly, still feeling pity well in the depths of his stomach for the gentle, kind, and sweet she-cat. Peachcrown looked up and rapidly wiped her eyes and nose, feeling self-conscious about her tears and feelings, "H-hey." She whispered, trying to ignore her emotions.

Hareheart pressed his flank gently on hers in a comforting manner and didn't look her in the eyes, instead, averting his eyes to the ocean line in the far distance. "What's wrong, Peachcrown?" Peachcrown gulped and spoke in a shaky voice, "I'm not ready." Hareheart locked eyes with her and he frowned sadly, "For what?" Peachcrown looked at the horizon, "To be a warrior." Hareheart rested his tail on her back softly and added, "I know how you feel. Adapting to clan life for me was just like that." Peachcrown wiped her eyes.

Hareheart had a little light bulb go off in his head. "Hey, you're not on dawn patrol today, right?" Peachcrown furrowed her eyebrows in confusion and shook her head slowly but curiously, "No...?" Hareheart tugged her paw, "Then come with me!" Peachcrown couldn't help but smile a little, "What about the others?" Hareheart winked at her goofily, "They'll be alright for the next hour." Hareheart led her down the narrow stone slope and down to the sandy grass only three fox lengths away from the sand and shore of the ocean.

Hareheart led her into the tree a foxtrot in front of the slope and into a small cave with a big hole in the roof where the early morning sun began to shine through and directly onto the little patch of grass below it Hareheart smiled ruggedly as Peachcrown gasped in awe, looking around the circular cave. Peachcrown's eyes then fell onto the little white daisy poking from the ground on the patch of grass where the sun hit. "I just thought... maybe you needed to know that through and through, the daisy still grew."

Spottedfur went on a patrol by herself and got vole, fox and crow for her leader.
"Thank you, Spottedfur! That is a very good deed. You get 1 whole fox since nobody is in our clan." the leader, Silverstar, sighed.

The next day, Spottedfur went and got some moss for her leader's wound on the foot.
"Thank you, Spottedfur! That is a very good deed. You may eat now." Silverstar mewed.

Spottedfur was pleased, but nothing she did could make her leader proud of her.
So, a week later Spottedfur stood up to her leader:
"Silverstar, I can't take it anymore! I work day and night just so you can be proud of me, and you justs ay the same old thing!" Spottedfur hissed.

"Oh, my dear, sweet Spottedfur, it's all my fault... I'm just so worried that no cat will ever join us. Please forgive me." Silverstar put a paw on Spottedfur's paw.

"I'm so sorry, Silverstar... I had no idea you were working so hard." Spottedfur gave Silverstar a gentle lick.

The next day, feeling very cheery, Spottedfur got moss and lots of fresh-kill for her and Silverstar.
"Thank you, Spottedfur! Sit beside me, let's eat." Silverstar said, and did a play-bow.

And that was Spottedfur's story. She did everything to make her leader happier, and it worked.

Cloud likes to bring them feathers and flowers for their nest so they can sleep better and maybe feel better. He also like walking with them and letting them talk to him. Cloud will always be patient with them, letting them cry if they need and ramble on. Even if he didn't understand he would still try to help. It felt like his job for him, even though it wasn't. 9/10 chances the cat would feel better and be on their day so much happier. And if they weren't he would grab them some prey and let them have a moment because they may just be hungry aswell! He always smiles aswell hopefully making them feel better aswell.

Prompt: it's strange, really. you don't really know what you can do to cheer others up until you do it, and even then, sometimes you still have no idea what you've done to brighten their days! at least, that's how it is for infernape here; he tends to accidentally make other cats happy by the faces he makes - though of course he has absolutely no clue why they giggle suddenly after his face screws up in thought. really, what's so funny about his little tongue sticking out while his eyes are crossed in deep consideration? what are you laughing at?
