Prompt: Firelight's favorite and most memorable party would have to be her 'coming out party.' It all began when she asked Seastar to let her make an announcement to the clan. The cat got up to the River Rock and called for a gathering. LagoonClan looked up at her questioningly, and she spoke. She told her friends and family what she had found out about herself. The two known and popular lesbians of the clan, Maplefeather and Softpetal, started cheering. Smokestorm started passing out prey to the clan and the party began. Once Firelight had stepped off the River Rock, she was swarmed with cats and told how proud each and every one of them was of her. The she-cat swelled with pride as she ate her juicy squirrel. it had been just after their warrior's ceremony when nutmeg had bounded over to mallowpool, still brimming with excitement over the recent events.

the newly-appointed warrior brightened upon catching sight of the other molly, eagerly gesturing towards the empty area beside her. of all of the cats she knew in valleyclan, nutmeg was by far the one she was closest to. and, as of late, she always found herself with butterflies in her stomach almost every time she spoke to the molly. she wasn't quite sure why. it only confused her, though, so it was something she tried not to put too much thought into.

"mallowpool!" nutmeg purred as she plopped down beside her. she had just sat down when she spoke again, her voice quick and her expression enthusiastic, " I was thinking, since we're finally able to leave camp by ourselves now, how'd you feel about going down to the riverside for a few hours?"

noticing the hesitant look on her friend's face, the molly assured that they'd return to camp well before their vigil. there was still plenty of time left before the sun fell. and besides, they were actual warriors now! surely that merited some kind of celebration, didn't it? and, with both of them being former kittypets, it had been an even bigger accomplishment to adjust to clan life as a whole (though, truth be told, there were still some aspects of it that she hadn't grown used to).

mallowpool nodded thoughtfully as she listened to her friend's suggestion. she definitely couldn't say that the idea didn't intrigue her. aside from the vigil, of course, there wasn't much that happened for the newly-appointed warriors in valleyclan. besides, she had been itching to step foot outside of camp, where it felt as though she had barely left for the past few moons.

the molly couldn't help but grin as she spoke, "that'd be nice."

nutmeg flashed a smile so genuine that mallowpool couldn't help but return it. "c'mon then!" she chirped, standing up and eagerly beckoning for the other molly to follow. they stepped forward softly, exiting camp through the cluster of trees that stood by the entrance.

it wasn't long before the river came into view. mallowpool's eyes lit up as she neared the area and quickly broke out into a sprint, rushing forward with nutmeg trailing closely behind her.

time seemed to go by too quickly, but the day was well spent; swimming through the slow-moving river, splashing in the pools that stemmed off from it, even catching some of the little fish that they saw darting upstream. mallowpool was certain this was the happiest she had felt in moons. with her best friend by her side and the soothing sounds of the running stream nearby, she felt as though she couldn't have a care in the world. and though it had been a quiet, more toned down celebration with only the two of them, it was more than she could have asked for.

Back when she was still a kittypet, her twoleg threw her a birthday party!! There were so many people there, and so many cats... Some cats were less enthused about the whole shebang, but to Dawntide's eyes, things couldn't be better!! She was always a social butterfly of a cat, very tolerant of people petting her and noises around her and things put on her. Not to mention, the "birthday cake" of choice was REAL MEAT!!! Before that day, she'd never tasted better!!

Unfortunately, the party also meant Dawntide discovering that she couldn't stand to be alone, just her twoleg as constant companion. Much as he clearly loved her, she craved the presence of other people, other cats. Which is why when Heatherstar came around, asking if she wanted to join a clan, of course she agreed!! She also insisted on being the clan's first Party Planner. Heatherstar isn't really sure what to make of the role, but she's so enthusiastic, he could hardly say no...

Her first party shall always be the most memorable. But she is determined to make the next one EVEN BETTER.
