Prompt: Puddlepaw has always wish his name was different entirely and use to complain to his mom to change it, but she was always resolute in her choice, as he was named after his late father, Coldpuddle. He supposed if he HAD to choose a name with his prefix, he'll prefer Puddlebreeze or Puddlespring to symbolize his prowess in hunting (which is what he's most proud about), or Puddlestorm to symbolize more of a whirlwind personality he (thinks) he has. Instead, however, he'll be given Puddledance for his grace in the water and in social conversation, as he dances from cat to cat easily and swims smoothly like a fish. It's pretty close enough to any of his desires, so he'll like it. I'm fact, he might even warm up to his prefix after awhile because of it.

They wanted to be named something intimidating; like Sunclaw. Other suitable options include, but are not limited to: Sunstrike, Sunbite, Sunstep, Sun the Ultimate Destroyer of Many Worlds, Sunfire, and Sunfang. With a name like Sunburn, they could of even had a cool motto. "Did you bring your spf? 'Cause I'm about to burn you."

In the end, Suncheeks was the name chosen for them. It's not what they'd hoped for, but it's their name! Thinking back, their ideas were bit cringey and over the top, anyways. They think Suncheeks represents them well! It shows their friendly and eager personality, and notes the spots of color on their face, too! "Aren't I the cutest?" And hey, at least they weren't named Sunshine.

Rhys would like something fitting of their place in the clan. Something generic - Orangepelt, maybe. They haven't done half as much as the other apprentices have - their warriorship would probably be more of a "Well, we would feel bad if everyone BUT you was a warrior" thing. Just pity.

Damir will suggest a few names to Rhys when the time comes for the clan's warrior ceremony, as he will do for every other member of the clan. However, Paleweb will be the name that sticks out to Rhys. Damir's reasoning behind the name is what will convince Rhys on the name and their own worth in the clan; Pale comes from Rhys' pelt, of course, but as Damir will explain -web is for their careful nature, their quick wit, and how they are connected with nearly every one of their clanmates (a feat which Damir won't forget to praise). Their own leader identifying such traits in themselves will make Rhys realize how much worth they truly have, and that their clanmates value them far more than Rhys could have imagined. Rhys will be happy with their warrior name, not only because they got to pick it out themselves, but because it represents the 'self' that they never could see.
