Ahhh, pretty flamingo boyo!!! :3 I've been on a flamingo kick as of late, but wow this boy's a showstopper. I recently followed you when I saw a Featherval pop up in the recent oekakis. Immediately fell in love. Already loved servals, foxes, and birds ; only thing better is to roll them all into one species! I’ve been wanting to design an MYO, just was struggling to figure out what to make. (Just recently decided, so keep an eye out for an adorable Osprey kiddo cause Osprey's are cool and I figure they'd fit in well enough with the Rain Flock I feel such kinship to.)

I didn’t even realize that these were up for grabs potentially until I saw Nunaat, and I noticed that there were going to be eventual staff openings, so I was looking through to see who I clicked with. They’re all so pretty but I definitely wanted to choose wisely which one/ones I'd put in for ; I wanted to really connect with the character. Then I saw Tashi and questioned whether he was the flamingo I thought he was and was pleasantly surprised when I saw his design pop up today. I definitely love to put my name in the pool for him if possible!

Tashi speaks to me, specifically him, for several reasons. His flock and bird dna both remind me of home. He literally uses the same pronouns as me. And as I read through the rough outline of his traits...we appear to be long lost siblings. Especially can relate to the wandering ; I do that too. I can definitely vibe with him. It'll be super super easy to get into his headspace when writing for him. He also reminds me a little of King Julian (of Madagascar) in the way he holds himself and I'm just picturing him shaking his tail feathers. Perhaps that image will never leave my mind. I can also start to imagine how he might interact with some of the other monarchs.

I’ve written for several ARPGs as a participant (which have unfortunately fallen inactive) and I used to roleplay quite a bit. I also occasionally do art trades. Was definitely pondering possibly taking commissions at some point. The idea of possibly being either a future artist, writer, or both sound very appealing to me. While I do love creating my own worlds in a lot of stories, I also take great enjoyment in using writing to explore other worlds. (Example point : All of my Warriors and Pokémon fanfic material over the past 3 years or so.)

Apologies for the long winded spiel. :3 Good luck to everyone else who’s put in for one of the monarchs! I'm excited to see where this species goes.
