Heatherdream was out exploring one day when she discovered an abandoned garden that seemed overgrown at first sight but once she passed the vines and long grass she discovered a dragonfruit plant and grinned. She picked three and brought them back to her leader and substitute medicine cat Tansypetal. She asked about it and Tansypetal didn't know what to do with it, neither did Heatherdream. She opened it and gaped at the shifting of the colors, the outside was a soft-spikey texture with the color green and reddish-pink and then the inside was a whitish-gray with black seeds. She and Tansypetal shared amazed glances. Heatherdream bravely took a bite and was surrounded by different flavors. Eventually, she kept picking more and settling by the ocean side to eat them whilst listening to the waves beating on the sand calmingly. She would always do so when she was tired, bored, or stressed. It soothed her and often helped her sleep.
