The Canam Dog was developed in the last 20 years by flyball enthusiasts in an effort to create the perfect flyball dog. They were named after the largest annual tournament, the CanAm Flyball Classic.

Build-a-Dog Community Challenge #3

In case they can't go outside, she will grab her blanket and rest on it, laying beside the sofa or wherever her owner is. She will follow it through the whole house, walking behind her owner with the blanket in her mouth.

Answer: Dotte is a fairly high-strung dog, it's not uncommon to see her stressed or anxious over something, especially because she is so new to life at Polar North, but one thing she seems to really love is heading down to the beach. It's a long drive, but it's so much warmer down the mountain and by the sea, and it's worth every minute of getting to spend time with Dotte. Her handler, Henry, often takes her in his truck for a relaxing drive and the second he opens the door she bolts out to go play in the sand or splash her feet in the shallow water. Dotte is naturally curious when she's not so worried, and it's not uncommon for her to dig up seashells, driftwood, pretty rocks and on one occasion- fossilized sea creatures! She gets so lost in being by the sea, she's almost an entirely different dog. She always seems relaxed and much, much happier when she gets back to the ranch, and Henry always dries her paws off so she doesn't get cold. When there's times that she cannot go to the beach, Henry will set the bathtub up for her and hide toys or treats underneath towels for her to 'dig' for, and he lets her play with her favorite rubber ducky in the water. Sometimes he puts on a CD of seagulls and ocean sounds, to help her feel like she's really at the beach, and it always works!

Answer: Jaskier is a rather lively young dog, always bouncing and running around, never taking a moment to stop and take a break. However, since Jaskier has become quite a handful, his owners and trainers have managed to find a way to tame the wild beast that Jaskier can become. To get Jaskier to relax, the trainers suggested using music and calming strokes on his head. This tactic helped lead them to discover that even playing music would cause Jaskier to go off on his own to relax. The spotty little pup would crawl under his owner's bed with a soft little wolf plush and curl up in an old blanket he'd pulled under there at an earlier point. He would curl up and listen to the music, occasionally digging in the blanket or even taking a chew toy under to help him keep busy. As soon as the music turns off (even if he'd fallen asleep) Jaskier will perk right back up and crawl out to return to his crazy shenanigans.

Answer: Falco's view of relaxing is anything but! The entire purpose of relaxing is to become less tense or anxious, and while other pups certainly do that by laying in the sun, or cuddling with each other and taking a nap, sitting still is a nightmare for Falco. For him, the way to "relax" is to keep going! Hikes, running in sand or snow, swimming in a lake, anything that takes lots of energy is perfect! Because as long as Falco keeps moving, everything is right in his world.
