name: Lunaly
gender: Heifer
collar: Starry to match eyes!
prompt: "Girls are witches, boys are wizards..."
That was just the way it was, but why should it be? Who would want to be a witch? And who decided this? Standing before her mirror, Lunaly knew anyone who thought this was foolish and wrong.
Made from the finest silk, a shimmering violet and blue cloak speckled with stars, constellations, galaxies, and planets draped gracefully over her back. As she twisted to get a better look, it swayed and danced, just barely brushing the floor. To avoid having to tie it, she had looped it seamlessly through her matching collar. Atop her head perched a tall conical hat, made of the same fabric as the other things but set apart with a silver moon on the middle to match the stars. Her favorite part? The sleek silver staff she held with her tail. While it may seem simple at first, upon closer inspection others can see hundreds of stars intricately carved into the surface.
Glancing in the mirror one final time, Lunaly was satisfied. This costume was perfect.

It's quite uncomfortable, however without the straw the costume would be quite unrecognizable. After all, she wasn't dressing up to be a farmer, rather something a bit more... inanimate, at least outside of the older horror movies.

The flannel is soft to the touch, a rich crimson and black ensemble, and the jeans are tattered at best, but still in working condition to do as they were built to do. They are quite big on her, her father being much more muscular then Ina by far, but once the straw was packed inside, everything felt snug as a bug- albeit a bit pokey. The straw hat has a hole in the brim, but her mother thought it fitting of the ruggedness of the costume- "scarecrows are to be patchy and ragged, not something out of the Gucci store"! Ina thinks a Gucci scarecrow would be pretty awesome though, not going to lie.

A pair of worn leather moccasins and some more straw patched in here and there made for the rest of the look. Yes, quite the look for sure. Ina doesn't know if she will be able to move with the amount of straw packed in around her lithe frame, but she attempts to anyway, waddling a few steps forward before slowly leaning forward and faceplanting in the grass. Scarecrows. What a time.
