Centralia, a ghost town that was evacuated in the 1962 due to to a coal fire that still burns underground to this day, is best known for it's modern attraction known as the 'graffiti highway'. This small stretch of road was closed off when the town began to be bulldozed, and was brought to life soon after by hundreds of visitors that came to spread their art across the pavement. Though much of the highway has since been buried by park officials, there are still some spots that can be seen if one is willing to travel far enough. Corval, having a strong interest in art and exploration, is absolutely fascinated by places like this. Centralia has always been her favorite space, even now, knowing that there are so many small treasures hidden within the forests for her to uncover.
(If you're anywhere near PA USA, I absolutely recommend checking this place out. I live rather close and go out to explore there constantly and it is nothing less than an amazing hidden treasure!)
