Shadow Flitz (Singular; Shadow Flit) are a long bodies species that have long since lost their hind legs, tail, and eyes to the power of the shadow and have replaced them with mold-able wispy appendages. these large, friendly beasts have been recently tamed to be ridden by humans and anthros alike. They have large, wide front paws, long pointed ears, and short, smooth fur. They can be naturally found in dark caves, wetlands, or thick forests. however have also been spotted in pastures while hunting. They are carnivores- meaning they are only meant to eat meat and they often prey on birds, deer, rodents, and bats.

prompt: celsius' favorite season, hands down, is winter. it's an uncommon pick, but he's always had a soft spot for the colder times of year. it could be his obsession with hot coffees, teas and other drinks-- which he thinks are best enjoyed when it's coldest outside, or it could be his long-time love for chunky knit sweaters that perfectly shelter him from the cold and are far too hot to wear in any other season... there are so many things celsius loves about winter! he's an avid snow sculptor and has been building igloos ever since he was young (with help from his friends, of course!) and every year the snow falls he takes his snowman building to another level, adding on more details, making scenes, adding colors using dyed water-- the works! he's pretty serious about decorations too, and he absolutely loves putting up all the lights and holiday displays. from snowball fights to peppermint lattes, celsius just loves everything about the cold months, making winter his favorite season of all time.

He has a great fascinationObession with studying the cold, the snowflakes (ice crystals) and they affect as well as reactions to different scenarios. Working through to see every possible use for the snow and the air temperature, as well as how much advantage would it be? and where? One of his studies also include his own DNA, with his thermal genes he studies how the heat affects his fur to turn form a chilling and inviting blue, to a blazing and hot red.
"Fascinating!" He shouts.

during summer he will oftenly kick back a little bit. while also trying to find a place to stay cool, and during winter he will preform all sorts of studies as well as some generic Winter fun. Best part of it all is He gets to show off his fashion, especially his beloved scarf.
"There is no one better than me When is comes to neck wear" the flit smirks running his paw down his scarf to stroke it in an obvious glitz display.

Now, Lainey would love to say summer. But he can't. It may sound silly, but there is a legitimate reason why: the pollen. Not flower pollen, but just pollen from scrubs and grass. It gives him the WORST hayfever, he'll be coughing and sniffling for a whole month, not being able to step outside or he'd collapse from the choking fits. So, he takes the second best option.

Spring. It's mostly warm, at least in late spring, and it has beautiful flowers. But most importantly: the water is warming up! he can finally go swimming, splashing about in his favourite pool and ducking into the cave behind the waterfall.

His favorite season. Hm, that's a hard one to explain!

Describing it with a normal season, he'd say winter, but it's not completely winter. It's that time in the middle of fall and winter where winter's sorta "begun" but there's still no snow yet. Fahren loves this type of weather where it's cold, but not too cold. You know, the time between, where you could still go without a sweater but most wouldn't. Fahren adores his scarf, a gift from his father during this time of year, so of course he loves the weather that gives him a chance to wear it. He also loves how time seems to slow in this zone between seasons, caught in the middle of spookiness and holiday cheer. The vibe is hopeful and happy, little worry clouding the fun.

It's during this time of year that he created a tradition at his college. Fahren has named this sort of season "Solnox", in honor of it starting roughly in between the autumn equinox and winter solstice. Every year when this unofficial "season" begins, the entire university gives out free coffees, teas, ciders, hot chocolate, pastries, and soup. Fahren begun by preparing all of it himself, setting out a booth in the central courtyard to spread the Solnox cheer. It quickly got picked up by the university's coffee shops and restaurants, and now Solnox is like a holiday. Although Solnox doesn't last very long as the days truly turn to winter, it's during this time Fahren makes some of his best memories.
