This item is important to them since it is an item that has been passed on from one Nzo to another. It was originally found by the very first Nzo who used it as a way to channel spirits. The colors are meant to show how the Nzo is a rank above gender and therefore moves freely between gender identities.

Windcry always keeps it on them someway or another because they never know when they need to talk to the deceased and as a marker for how they identify

this was my attempt at drawing it! hope it isn't too much of an eyesore!
This means a lot to her as her father found it on patrol one day and brought it back to her. At the time she was the last remaining of her siblings and even her mother. Since a kit she enjoyed gathering different trinkets she would sneak out to do so. To prevent further sneaking out her father told her if he found something interesting he would bring it back to her. So he did whether it be a nickel to a broken cell phone. Every single one she has kept in a secret place in the camp as to not take up space from others she moved it to a hollowed tree once she was an apprentice. Though she has always worn the bandana since her father brought it back to her.

The crown of spring blossoms has always been a reminder of the light of her world. Caelum. Everything was perfect, then. But, the corrupt agenda that dwelled within the heart of her birthplace, it slowly tore it apart, piece by piece. With nowhere left to stay, the two love-twined souls ventured out into the unknown. In hope to find a new place, they could finally call home.


After moons of travelling, the two found The Shore Of Dreams, settling into clan life much quicker than expected. The place that had always been destined for them and all was at peace.

Devastation was swept into reality, shortly after. A tidal wave swept away the love birds, separating them for one another. Ivelle survived. But, the state of her love remained undetermined, until this very day.

Was he dead? Alive?

The fallout of the tragedy shattered her heart, like glass.

Since then, the crown had always been a source of light to her soul. A silent comfort.

A gentle reminder that perhaps one day, her one, true love would return.
