Blinking, he cupped his paws over his ears. Who dared to make such a racket? Giving a snort of annoyance, he threw a verdant glance over his shoulder as if to search for the voice, his eyes skimming through the expanse around him. But, there was nothing. All he found was the blonde sand he was nestled in. Was he dreaming? Probably. This couldn’t possibly be real. Perhaps, he should put a little extra work into finding the voice. Nah. He was too tired. Someone else could deal with the intruder. It was a dream. Anyways, what could possibly happen if he let the trespasser of his own imagination walk around for a bit. Nothing! Absolutely, nothing. Rolling over to his back, he let his belly bask in the sun, letting it’s warmth soak into his skin.
Ah. What a lovely dream.

Mimi froze in place and glanced over their shoulder at the cat that dared speak out to them, an amused smile on their face. In the other cat's defense, Mimi was in disguise as one of the peasants, so they probably assumed Mimi was lower ranked than them.

Mimi turned toward the cat, letting their disguise melt away and taking on their usual features once again. The look of fear on the cat's face when they realized they were looking at their archmage was priceless.

"Yes? how can I help you?" Mimi asked pleasantly, knowing this wouldn't end well at all for the cat that questioned them.

Flexing his claws the large tom fainted an attack only to dash past his pursuer. Grabbing up the half hot-dog from where he had dropped it previously. A smug grin stretched across his features as he heard the rogue stumble into a nearby trash can from their momentum. A yowl of rage echoing from the ally as Badger made off with his prize. Sure he could have fought for the food but getting away without having to lick a wound or two was a much better outcome in his opinion. Dashing through streets and alleyways his smug aura distracted him from the twoleg trap hidden within what he had thought to be a safe hole to hid within. Fur on end Badger curled around his meal waiting for what was to come and hoping it would not be his end.
