What is their favorite picture of themselves?:

"My favourite.. picture? You sure? Alright alright, let me get it. It's a bit silly, but it's pretty good." The yellow and purple kit stood up and went over to one of the many shelves in the room. Carefully moving aside the other picture frames on the shelf, he selected a much smaller picture, one from a sort of Polaroid camera. He smiled as he examined the picture as he'd done many times before.

"It's a bit blurry, but I think it just adds to it, don't you agree?" He was clearly trying to not giggle at the picture. It seemed to be a large pond of some sorts, surronded by woods. It was peaceful, and you could see the blurry shapes of other kalons and kits nearby. In the middle of the picture though, was a bright red canoe, next to it, a yellow canoe. Only half of the yellow canoe could be seen, as the other half was under water. And right next to that, soaking in pond water and looking rather shocked that he had fallen in, was Sean in a lifejacket. It was infact a rather silly but nice picture.

Sean looked lost in thought as he admired the photo. "This is from camp a few years back. I was trying to catch a turtle, but I fell in!" He chuckles to himself as he neatly puts the photo back. "It may not be the best photo of me, but I love it. Everytime I see it I remember the fun times I had at camp. The memories I've made, the friends I
have met, and the fun times we all had, just being ourselves. Camp is my favourite place to be, so with this photo I can always take those great times with me."

She didn’t want to go because she thought theme parks were for little kids bu her friend convinced her and she had a great time. The picture serves as a reminder that you never know until you try.

The mother stood in front of the 2 kalons, patiently fixing the smart phone angle to get a good view.
“Mom, i didn’t even brush my hair, i don’t want to take one right now.”
Meena turned to face her aunt, whom was towering above her and yet still had the most tiny, petite figure; she was the image of perfection, always ready for any photo op. Acting as a second mother to her, it came to her surprise when finding out the two had very little pictures together, and so she’d asked if Meena’s mom would act as their photographer outside the supermarket’s doors. Shifting her gaze back to reality, Meena again told off her mother, still attempting to get the perfect shot even through her frowning faces and upset smirks.
“One picture. But i better not see it on facebook, or instagram, or any group chats-“
“Smile, 3, 2, 1, cheese!”
Putting on her biggest and best smile, Meena grinned until her eyes were blinded by the flash, and embarrassed to have caused a scene in the public area, quickly stepped out of the frame to view the picture.
“Mom, my eyes are closed! Seriously?” She half whispered, half shouted in an attempt to conceal the conversation from her aunt. Taking a deep breath and walking back towards her, Meena signaled for her mom to take another photo, making sure to have flash turned off this time. The camera lens was pointed at the pair once again, and taking a deep breath, she pushed all ounces of embarrassment behind her and put on a grin from ear to ear. Even after the photo was taken, she still held the smile, reflecting upon their best memories together. [296/300]

It's not usual for someone to catch a glimpse of the fae, there's even less of a chance that one is able to catch a picture. However, that doesn't stop humans from trying to create images of those they do see. Caspian is one of those. Caspian frequents a forest that surrounds a small local village, and while many are intimidated by the fae, there were always a few curious souls who wander a little too close to the faerie circle. His favourite picture came from one of them.
She was wise, she knew the tricks that the fae would play. She knew to avoid stepping into the circle of mushrooms, she knew not to tell them her name. She intrigued them and for some reason, she continued to come back despite the warnings of the village. She continued to venture out to the faerie circle to greet them. Little by little, the two of them played their game. Caspian listened to her stories, learned about her fears. Still, she would not share her name. The picture was from her.
It was a headshot, drawn in charcoal and there was no real contribution to the surroundings in which Caspian dwelled, yet they remember the day well. She had come to the forest distraught, with no regard for the fae or how close she came to the circle of mushrooms on the ground. Caspian watched her in silence, allowing her to calm herself before she told them about the fight. It was during this conversation that she drew the faerie, although it took some convincing to get Caspian to agree to it. It was her last gift to them when she returned to the faerie circle years later, a shell of the girl she once was.
