dahlia, ever since she was young, has been allergic to flowers & pollen, rarely being able to go anywhere near them without sneezing and feeling the allergic symptoms kick in. this caused her to stay indoors while everyone went on field trips to the fresh green grass and the cool day breeze. spring was no fun, until a few months ago. animal crossing new horizons came out. everything she had dreamt of was there, and she was able to be in the field, on the island, with the flowers; a virtual spring. that's why animal crossing flowers are her favourite. Spring is far from Kage's favorite season, so it's quite fortunate that he can enjoy his favorite flower
during the summer and early fall too. Kage's favorite flower is the Purple Dead Nettle. He always used
to think it was a type of honeysuckle, so sometimes he'll still slip up and call it that, but the looks are
certainly not what drew Kage in. It was the fact that he could eat the dainty nectar-filled buds. His
favorite memories are of him sprawled in a field of these wildflowers, snacking on the buds whilst lost
deep in thought.
