Seattle is filled with busy kals that bustle on their way, no hesitation, unapologetically. If you were to bump into one of these hurried souls I would hope it be someone like Finch. As top reporter for the emerald city, she definitely has places to go, but would undoubtedly apologize and help you collect anything you dropped. She may even slip a card for a free coffee in your briefcase while you're not looking as she always keeps a stash of them in her skirt pocket for such occasions. At the end of the day, she loves more than anything going home to her ragdoll cat Missy and cuddling up in an over sized sweater to watch a hallmark movie. Something not many know about her is that she is the overprotective big sister of Vincent Azure, the most well known superhero in the area, and Finch herself may not be all she seems either.

in this hectic world, we all need to chill out sometimes. minthe is one of those influences who can just bring an element of calm into any environment she comes into. though named after the nymph of legend, minthe shares few traits with her namesake. she does, however, always seem to exude a gentle scent of mint - the plant which demeter turned minthe into. she's immensely laid back, letting pretty much anything slide and having very few people she finds issue with. it's a running gag among her circle that if she complains, you know you messed up.
minthe's primary interest is gardening, a skill taught to her when young. she grows all kinds of herbs, spices, vegetables and fruits - the practical use of what she produces is paramount to her. she uses her crops to cook, making endless homemade meals for any fortunate enough to visit her, and while her cooking isn't fantastic, the effort is valued by friends and neighbours alike.
minthe can't stand reading up on history as it's all just too focused on conflict for her, making her quite uncomfortable. while her relaxed disposition has many benefits, sometimes she'll simply take it too far, and it can be rather frustrating to others when she avoids any conflict regardless of what may actually be best for the situation. Maurice is a joyful, creative kalon living in a big city. They moved there from a small town, hoping to share their ideas about life and the world with many others. They used to be a writer but had trouble putting their thoughts on paper and this stressed them out greatly, and so they tried dancing these negative emotions away. It worked, and after a few years of teaching themselves the many different styles of dance, they decided to show their thoughtful and meaningful stories through unique movements and dance routines. Free style dancing is their favourite dance style, and it makes them happy to just flow with the rhythm.

They still deal with stress regularly as many individuals do, and have a hard time knowing when to leave an argument to rest. They are persistent about making others know the truth and even when they know they should just let others have their own opinions even if they don't agree with them, they continue to try and prove that they are right, even if they aren't. This makes it harder for them to keep friends and keep a healthy relationship, but they do have a few friends who help them keep calm and collected through tough times.
