However, theres literally nothing to eat. Pearl is a self-proclaimed food critique and nothing is better than fresh spring grass. In winter, the pasture is just a blanket of white and if you start digging, you’ll just uncover dirt. There isn’t any grass underneath the thick pile of snow. Pearl hates having to eat hay as a substitute but she sucks it up anyway, knowing that after winter, she gets to eat the grass that she deems most worthy.

From the ocean washed shores of Hawaii, to the iguana infested beaches of Florida, it doesn’t make a difference to her. She’ll move back to her home in the spring when the snow is gone but only then will she feel truly at home.
