fact: I own a pair of gerbils named Gucci and Catra. Gucci is a pink-eyed white and she's three years old, Catra is black and white and she's 1 and a half to two years old! They darling babies and very well tamed. They'll take sunflower seeds from my hands and allow me to stroke their heads while they eat. My favourite thing, though, is when I give them their dust bowl and they do this little roll - as gerbils use sand to clean themselves (similar to chinchilla)!
