She was in love with a cat named Fernstripe. Even though she didn't know it yet. She had just begun her healer training about 5 moons ago. Fernstripe, the kind tom who invited her into the clan, was happy with his mate Lilyheart. It was when she saw how happy he was, she grew jealous. They would often make short eye contact, or have a brief greeting. She continued to feel like a shadow. Once Fernstripe and his mate became parents, she started to realize, that maybe there was love there, but it didn't have to be romantic. She realized that she didn't want to be angry at them for being happy. SO, thus ended her forbidden love.

Doveheart shifted in the soft grass, staring through the trees at the dotted sky. He turned onto his side, gazing at the she-cat next to him, who he had known since he was a kit. Her emerald green eyes dazzled in the moonlight, her black and white pelt shimmering with beauty. She cocked her head to the side, her eyes lighting up as she stared at Doveheart.
"I miss this," The she-cat mewed, a smile creeping onto her face.
"You're not the only one, Silverfall," Doveheart replied, sticking his tongue out and sitting up. He got onto his paws, waiting for his mate to stand up. "Remember when we were newly made warriors? How we ran through the forest until dawn?" Doveheart pressed his muzzle against Silverfall, sniffing. "Let's do it again - forget all our troubles for one night," Doveheart stepped back, gazing at Silverfall, waiting for a response. Silverfall hesitated but agreed. Within less than a second, she began to chase Doveheart, the two running between trees and over roots.

The two cats panted, their breaths breaking the peaceful silence. The sun cracked over the trees just enough, light shimmering over the grass. Doveheart quickly hushed Silverfall, beckoning her to lie down with him. The two watched in silence as the sun rose, the trees seeming to move as the beams of light hit them. "I wish we could do this every night," Doveheart admitted, enjoying the warmth sitting in his belly as he intertwined his tail with Silverfall's.
"Doveheart,"
"Yes?"
"I'm expecting kits," Silverfall smiled, shock and happiness pulsing through Doveheart. His heart thrummed, and he leaped onto the she-cat, laughing. He gazed into his mates eyes, purring.
"We're expecting kits," He smiled.
