Your stomach grumbles a little and you wish you had brought
something to eat along with you. Up ahead, you see a small
wooden booth. A flit stands inside. He is placing bright, fresh
veggies around the booth and looks up at you as you approach.

"Oh hey! I'm Wellington. Would you like to look at my harvest?"

beatrice inspected the small wooden booth, his thin wings holding him level to the shadow flitz inside. he remained silent, his attention shifting to the various vegetable. the fairy flitz was far more interested in the possibility of a snack than the immediate company. wellington couldn't possibly notice if just one went missing, could he? yet, bee had already made his presence clear; petty theft was out of the question. he'd like to claim that he'd never steal something as personal as freshly harvested veggies, though he knew his conscious was not above it. he landed softly on the edge of the booth, his smaller size allowing him the luxury of a clean location to sit (although he knew he probably wasn't welcomed there). his long ears swayed with the motion, a few pieces of stray grass falling from his fur. his wings slowly fell to rest at his sides, posture slouching with to give the most minimal effort. he recalled the flitz's question, and tilted his head slightly in thought.

"would they be...for trade perhaps?" what was the point in simply looking? of course he'd prefer to chow down on something. as he spoke, his long tail moved to wrap around one of the carrots, almost absentmindedly. beatrice quickly pulled it back as he came to his senses, looking back to the blue and grey flitz. why was this stand here in the first place? bea couldn't recall anything similar being here in the past. an even better question was, where had wellington been growing these vegetables? he'd never met this male, nor taken notice of his farm.

bee was again drawn back into the allure of fresh vegetables, growing agitated at even such a minimal wait. they were so close, but the small shred of common decency within him prevented him from just taking them and flying off.
