Moons ago, the five warrior clans, ThunderClan, WindClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan, and SkyClan were destroyed by a massive storm. A tornado tore through the territories, and a massive forest fire ran through ThunderClan. The cats who were able to escape alive fled. With the remaining cats, StarClan contacted many warriors, even kittypets, to create new clans. If their plan failed, the warrior code may just be lost forever.

Getting Started . . Leveling Up . . Challenges

Welcome to Rays of New Light. For short, it may be referred to as RoNL or Rays. With the cats you gather, you can create your groups, whether it be a clan, a tribe, or whatever comes to mind. Please remember that the leveling up tasks and limits must be met. This includes no more than one leader or one deputy depending on your level unless you complete the "Expansion Challenge."

You must be at level 1 or beyond to tryout.
My first contest and they're 4 kits, your welcome.
Genotypes will be revealed with the adults! They are, however, a lilac solid, a blue point, an apricot solid and a lilac mink point.

You may only win 2 kits but can try for all 4. These kits, while not related, were raised together as siblings and cannot be bred to each other. This will be a rounds competition!

For the first round, which everyone will be automatically accepted into, you'll have to tell me how the kittens got separated at apprentice age! I will roll for one to be the correct answer but all who enter get into the next round. This round will last an hour.

While out being taught to hunt one morning on a cold winter’s day, a storm began to brew, and snow began to fall.
The kits and their surrogate mother were too far away from their den, and while struggling through the snow it only seemed to get thicker and thicker, colder and colder. Soon they were all struggling in the dark as clouds blotted out the last warm rays of sunshine. Still, they continued in the direction they all believed was heading back home – but they were all heading in the wrong direction.
As the storm cleared up and finally the family of cats could see, each cat realised they were all alone.

How did they get separated?: These kits all got separated as apprentices while off on a hunting trip with their mentors that went horribly wrong, resulting in all of them getting lost and not being able to find each other again. A dog found them during their hunting trip, resulting in everyone fleeing for their lives in all directions as quickly as they could. Unfortunately for the 4 kits, they were unfamiliar with the territory that they fled to and could never find their way back to each other.

How did they get separated?:
Lightning struck and a storm roared over head, the kits traveled seeking shelter, abandoned by their two-legs they had no idea how to get home, it became difficult to see and hear, they called out for each other, but the wind swept away their voices... soon everyone was alone. Where did they all go?

How did they get separated?:

The night was dark. A sharp cry rang above a group of four small cats were playing. A larger, adult cat, came looking outside, immediately yowling at them. But it was too late. A second large bird came flying in, and a third, and finally a fourth. As the young cats ran, the large birds dived down, and grabbed all four of them, flying off before the adult cat could help any of them. The cats were known to have been dropped not far outside the territory.

And who am I, you may wonder. Why I am just a simple deer wandering the pine forests.

How did they get separated?: Their twolegs had abandoned them at the river - something about them being too small to survive?

How did they get separated?: Each realized they were alone after fleeing from a twoleg that got out of a monster and chased after them while they were trying to cross the thunderpath after sneaking away from their mentors. Scattering outside of familiar territory isn't such a great idea after all.

The kits all shared an earthen den together, but during a particularly wet season, the flooding became too much for a nearby river and the den, along with the kits, was washed away. The kits all miraculously survived but were swept in four completely different directions.
