What are Teacats?
Teacats were made by accident. A young woman was fiddling around with different tea flavors to try and create a better tea that would draw in more customers to her shop. Thinking her newest formula was going to fail, the woman decided to mess around and stick the tea in a new type of casing- a casing in the shape of a cat. She dropped the tea in the water and sat back to wait for the water to soak up the flavors. However, when she checked the tea, tiny little eyes were staring back up at her. For reasons still unknown, the new casing came to life once it touches water.
I've spent so long on this Teacat, wow. A lot of times i've spaced out watching videos, or spent time redoing my colors or linework. This was supposed to be a sakura kitsune themed Teacat, but somewhere along the way it turned into a fire kitsune with burmese colors. I think i'd like to reuse these lines again to give this lil' one a sakura themed partner. This Teacat is my January artist custom, as i've done my adopts in December and January now. Anyway, this lil' guy is a fire Teacat based on the Japanese kitsune. He boasts nine tails and a rope necklace. His lil' flames heat up the teacup, so be careful! This tea is very hot!
